I am sorry to say on behalf of a table of 7 diners from last night ( 24th Dec )we were quite disappointed with our overall experience. There were long delays in receiving drinks and our food. It was frustrating when some of our food choices were not available and second choices were mixed up! We have had very satisfying meals in the past but last night was a let down. The menu does not seem to have changed in a long time. I am afraid we will not be revisiting in anytime soon. Also referring to your statement on dress code. Why doesn't the restaurant enforce it?? The staff were friendly and obliging. The waiter dressed in a red waistcoat and tie was impressive. The whole experience was a bit tired and unimpressive. Sorry !

We've spent the last few Christmas days enjoying a delicious meal here. But this year we ended up as a family dining on Boxing Day. Have to say, it was mediocre. Cold starter, poor service, little atmosphere. It really was disappointing. To the point we'll not go back for a while.

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely meal (kid free) at miller & carter for Christmas Eve. Perfect table, quiet spot in the restaurant. Our steak expert, Maddie, was excellent, so attentive and never made us feel rushed. The perfect host. Thank you. We had prawns avocado, calamari to start and fillet steak for mains. Hats off to grill chef, Adam, the food was stunning. Amazing experience! Merry Christmas. We will be back soon!

We went for our Xmas day as I’m working actual Xmas day and Maddie was the perfect host. Friendly, nothing was too much trouble and generally just really cheerful! Food was amazing as always; Dan did a grand Job! Thank you both for making our experience great!

Went for a lunch time meal, the restaurant was surprisingly busy for a Monday, and it had a lovely atmosphere. We chose from the very reasonably priced 3 course lunch time menu, we both had rump steak and it was excellent, and our server, Charlotte, was lovely and attentive. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to visiting again.

His knowledge about the menu was impressive, so much so I changed from my normal steak order. He offered insightful recommendations that truly catered to our preferences. Josh was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring our needs were met promptly without disrupting our dining experience. His genuine passion for service was evident in his demeanor and interaction, making our meal at Miller and Carter a truly memorable one. A table of 10 of where helped by the amazing Lizzie, it was a first visit by a few in our party and she talked everyone through the whole experience and took everything in her stride, from every order to her knowledge of how each steak is recommended to be served, we had several bottles of champagne and she helped to pop all of those too! The food was tremendously good by Dan too. You certainly get your money’s worth here, both service and food are truly amazing, thanks again to Lizzie for making our night special.I personally shared the butchers block, i will add pictures, as it was truly spectacular, I’d recommend it to anyone.

All the food was really good and our allergies were catered to. Having been to several Miller & Carter Restaurants in South Yorkshire, this by far has the best atmosphere and layout! Would definitely recommend.
