We came a year or so ago and had a delicious Sunday Roast. Today, the beef was nice and tender but a little dry and over cooked for my personal taste with not enough gravy. Called lunchtime for food.Went in the restaurant side.Good menu large portions cost around £13LUNCH MENU still generous portions £9.95Had large Steak Pie Chips Peas & Gravy. Lovely food, but should have had the lunch menu size.Good menu choices.Staff & chef excellent. Will definitely be having regular lunches at The White Hart.Called again last week, had lambs liver & onions with mash, peas & Gravy. One was large portion (£12.95) other was lunchtime menu (£9.95).I know liver is an acquired taste and not everyone's choice but it was superb. I attach photos of both meals showing the difference in portion size.Next visit will be Yorkshire Pudding filled with Sausage & Mash.Parking: Parking at rear of The White Hart.
