This is an authentic spot of amazing Ethiopian cuisine that is a must stop for anybody that enjoys real food and eating meals that are cooked from the heart.

Had the vegan & gf platter - absolutely delicious & plenty for two people. Friendly staff & very reasonably priced - £23 for a sharing main & 3 drinks. Highly recommended.

Had an amazing meal here - fresh food that was absolutely delicious. We had a main meal with the platter. Highly recommended for those who like something a bit different from the norm.

Delicious food, great service, very clean and great for our little one with high chairs and lots of interesting things to see around the walls such as photos, flashing lights and a drum!We enjoyed trying Ethiopian food for the first time and loved being able to have a buffet style laid out for us as a group of 8, enabling us to try everything. Would definitely recommend!(Also had a GF person with us who was looked after very well)Vegetarian options: Part of the buffet was vegetarian - the spicy lentils, kale and cabbage were delicious!Kid-friendliness: Server was so lovely with our 1 year old. High chair available for her and offered to make her some food of her own.Wheelchair accessibility: Took the pram in - plenty of room and no steps to navigateDietary restrictions: GF - almost everything was bar the bread. Lovely for our celiac person to be able to eat the same as us!

I wanted time to reflect on our dining experience before sending this review. It was a party of six for a birthday celebration arriving at 6.30pm to a welcoming host. The restaurant has a large TV, clean, decorated beautifully and has a homely feel. The restaurant had no other customers and very cold which we told the host but nothing was offered so we kept our coats on. I love Ethiopian food but it was new to the rest of the party so the host suggested a platter of all the dishes served at the restaurant and assured us that there would be plenty. Sadly, when the food arrived it was cold or luke warm together with the plates and injera. Also, the amount was insufficient for 6 adults although he did reheat dishes. It’s was clear that the host was the only person there and the food was not freshly prepared and cooked but reheated in a microwave. Disappointingly, the host would not acknowledge the concerns voiced therefore sadly we will not be returning but hopefully this will help with improving customer service.

Have never eaten Ethiopian food previously and the waiter was very helpful in giving guidance on menu options. The food was good (note that there is no cutlery so need to use your fingers). Service was also good. Drinks (including alcohol) were particularly cheap. Would recommend. For some reason the restaurant was out of deserts.

A lovely hidden gem in Sheffield! If you haven’t tried Ethiopian food before, this is a perfect place to start. The server was lovely, welcoming and attentive. Our food was clearly cooked fresh and tasted amazing. From portion size, price to taste, a great spot to visit. Highly recommend! We got the Vegetarian platter, beef stew and a lamb dish, and the bread came with the dishes. P.S. Ethiopian cuisine is delicious!

The three vegetarians in our party shared the vegetable platter: half a dozen delicious dishes served together on a huge plate of injera (traditional Ethiopan flat bread). The carnivore among us assured us his lamb dish was equally delicious (it certainly looked to as though it was). It was quiet on the early Saturday evening we were there, the staff were very helpful and friendly, the Ethiopian beer was delicious, and we had a great time. And it's crazy cheap!

An excellent meal, and brought back good memories of sharing injela with old friends from Ethiopia.

Everything about this place was a delight. The atmosphere and service, the taste of the food (and the great things to choose from) and the amazing prices. We are lucky to have this in the centre of Sheffield. Can't wait to go back.

Incredible food and service at unbelievable prices. £3 each for an Ethiopian beer or glass of wine or £2.50 for Stella. Tastiest vegetarian platter you could wish for at just £9 was awesome. Best food ever and that's not an exaggeration.
