Our first visit. Brilliant artisan coffee/food restaurant specialising in arabic/ Middle East cuisine. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We'll definitely be popping in again.

Lovely food at a reasonable price. It was super busy - my friend that brought me here said this cafe had a great reputation. I would definitely go

Food is good, service was slow, the door bangs every time & needs fixing. Great salad!

I read the reviews before going. I’m surprised by people saying warm atmosphere because I felt unwelcomed when I came in. After having a horrible night, I needed to get out the house and go somewhere with warm friendly atmosphere. Maybe because I’m not white, middle aged and upper class. I don’t know. But was just greeted with cold energy and unfriendly looks. Not one smile. Made me feel even lower when I wanted to treat myself to feel better. I watched every other middle aged white person get greeted with smiles and good service and it made me feel worse every time I witnessed it.However the food is nice. Can’t fault it really. The smoothie could be abit tastier. That’s it. Nice cafe. I would’ve been happy if I had experienced friendly service but no. Has put me off from going back.Spent £15 on food and a smoothie.

falafel is not cooked well like the last time I visited and one type of humous the pink one I think contain bad taste may be it’s old. I ordered Palestinian breakfast for 2 people cost 30£.
Had a very delightful lunch a lovely smell of herbs completed the atmosphere almost felt as though we were in.a turkish restaurant in Turkey I loved the vibe of this cafe and the food was ethnic and totally delicious the coffee was delicious also this excellent Turkish cafe is sometimes referred to as a breakfast restaurant I don't think of it that way because it takes away the orthentic turkey feel two of us had coffee with icecream yummy will definitely come again ?Vegetarian options: Seems plenty on menuParking: On busy main road round the courner on road parking

I recently visited Cafe de Amis and was thoroughly impressed with their wonderful breakfast offerings. The food quality exceeded my expectations, and the diverse menu catered to various tastes. The outstanding customer service and hospitality added to the overall enjoyable experience. Knowing that the restaurant is halal is a definite plus, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommended!
