First visit last week and recently moved to the area - as reviews were so good I thought I would try it and I wasn't disappointed. The tastiest fish I've had in ages. I got a mini fish and chips with sauce meal which was good value at £6.50. fresh tasty succulent fish with the right amount of batter cooked to perfection, decent chips and very good curry sauce Which came in a separate pot ?. Friendly helpful staff. There was a queue when I got there which is always a good sign but I didn't have to wait very long at all (less than 5 minutes). Worth mentioning that they don't accept card payments for under £10 so you will need to get cash first (there is a cash withdrawal service at the post office counter across the road in Morrisons local however I believe that closes at 5: 30pm so if it's evening you'll have to have the cash in advance or the next nearest cash machine will be Tesco express). Definitely recommend a fish and chips hereParking: A couple of off road parking spaces directly outside as well as ability to park on the road.
I've eaten fish and chips all over the world, including Iceland, Spain, China, Italy, America, and Thailand.I'm not being dramatic when I say that the fish and chips at Georgio's are the best I've ever had.Not only is the fish itself beautifully white and delicious, but the chips are absolutely top tier (in my opinion, the chips can make or break it!). It also helps that the staff at Georgio's are the loveliest people too.If you love fish and chips, want to support local business, or just want to eat the best of the best, then you MUST go to Georgio's.Parking: Parking is tight outside the shop itself, so I'd recommend parking up on the street nearby and walking over (it isn't far!)

The quality of Fish and Chips from Georgio's take-away is absolutely exceptional. Consequently you often have to endure a queue. On our first visit a seasoned customer assured us that it was "the best fish and chip shop for 20 miles" - that may be an under-estimate pending a contract variation agreement.
