My family and I had the pleasure of dining at Holt Restaurant this Easter Sunday, and it was an experience worth praising.From the moment we made the reservation, the attention to detail was evident. We received a thoughtful phone call beforehand to check if we had children joining us especially considering it was Easter Sunday and that chocolate and ‘love’ the Easter piggie was in-place.The food was simply exceptional. I opted for the roast beef, and it was undoubtedly the best beef I’ve had in quite some time. Each dish was prepared with care and attention, showcasing the culinary mastery of the chefs at Holt Restaurant.Moreover, the service was impeccable throughout our meal. The staff was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable dining experience.Overall, Holt Restaurant exceeded our expectations in every aspect. It was a perfect Easter celebration filled with delicious food, warm hospitality, and attention to detail. We can’t wait to return for another unforgettable dining experience.

The quality of the cooking here was excellent. Beautifully tender meat, excellent flavours from vegetables and accompanying sauces. We took the kids and they shared the house burger and really enjoyed that too. If you are looking for basic large quantity food this is not the place but if you are wanting thoughtful ingredients skilfully put together and presented then check this place out!

I visited "Holt" yesterday afternoon for Sunday lunch. The restaurant has a clean and simple interior with unobtrusive music playing in the background. My wife and I both chose the roast beef option. The meat was tender and pink. There were plenty of vegetables to share and homemade Yorkshire puddings too. It was all skilfully put together and tasty too. Excellent, friendly service. This is a special place to eat - above the norm and so we were a little surprised that it wasn't packed with diners. Given the quality of the food, the prices are very reasonable. Come on Sheffield 11-ers, support "Holt"!

Had our Christmas dinner here yesterday, which was absolutely delicious. Great service and atmosphere as the dining room was full. Lovely to find a restaurant open on Christmas Day serving such good food. The small touches such as the prosecco and gifts made it even more special. Scallop starter was excellent.

Lovely evening food was fantastic and the services superb too. Starts were extremely tasty the Bisque Prawns gorgeous! Cod for main I need to order the extra veg. Crumble for pudding. White wine was cold and the red room temp. Perfect !

We’ve been meaning to try this restaurant for ages and we’re so glad we did. The belly pork croquette and scallops were divine, followed by the chicken which was super tasty and the warm ginger cake. All amazing value, beautifully cooked and to see the chefs cooking upstairs was fab.

We walked past the night before and noticed it so booked for Sunday roast the next day. It’s good quality food which justifies the slightly higher than traditional pub prices. The beef and lamb were really very good. The desserts were huge and delicious. Drinks were reasonably priced and our waitress was excellent. We will be back.

Such a great place and welcomed fine dining addition to the area! Service welcoming and attentive. Bread starter was beautiful. Portion sizes really good for fine dining. Wines were lovely. Thank you, will 100% be back!

We had a Sunday roast at Holt and what can I say?! The best roast I have had in years. The beef was tender and beautifully cooked. The yorkshire pudding was cooked to perfection and the vegatables were beautiful and plentiful. We also had desserts which were out of this world! All home made and you can definitely tell! The staff were attentive, polite and helpful. We'll definitely be back soon
