I'm embarrassed for not putting a review up about this restaurant up till now, given how long I've been a customer. I came here for a romantic meal on the day me and my husband got engaged, I have just come home from a lovely meal with my Mum to celebrate my late Dad's birthday, not to mention so many other visits over the years. Absolutely wonderful food, fresh ingredients, and always delivered with a smile. Between me and my family/friends, I think we've tried everything on the menu, and I highly recommend EVERYTHING! The owner makes a point to come and speak to you and check that you are happy with everything, such a lovely guy who clearly cares about each customer experience. I don't know if the staff recognise me or not, but they all have a way of making you feel so incredibly welcome, it's without a doubt the best customer service in Sheffield - a natural skill that cannot be taught. If I could give La Scala more stars I would, it's such a special place.

The food is very fresh and delicious.They have the offer of 2 course menu at £18.96 from Tues to Thur. We really enjoyed our dinner and had a great service.

Visited for my partners birthday. There were five of us and we were seated downstairs. I prefer being upstairs but I presume they can't accommodate a party of five upstairs as we always seem to be down. I had caprese salad, steak medallions and profiteroles. The salad was lovely and the profiteroles were delicious. I had asked for my steak medium-well but it was more medium-rare to me. The vegetables that came with the steak were extremely tasty. The staff were friendly and helpful; although we had to ask a couple of times for some more drinks as they seemed to forget. We have visited many times and we will visit again.

Since lockdown ended we have become regulars here, the food is good prices reasonable and everyone is so friendly. Sometimes we go with extended family, wheel chair access is good downstairs (but carpark can be slightly awkward) and nothing is too much trouble. The music choice can be a little eclectic at times but we always leave with full tums and smiles

Came to La Scala with a group of my friends and it was a lovely experience. Ordered many different pizzas that we all shared and they were so delicious. Staff were so friendly and the service was excellent. The atmosphere was lovely and will definitely visit again.

We attended here for my nephews wedding. The food was top quality and cooked to perfection.. 10 out of 10 all round. The staff were amazing and we are certainly returning as a couple.. thank you ?

Fantastic food. Makes me feel like I am in la cucina di nonna . Good ambiance. Staff attentive. Domenico attended our table and he was warm and welcoming. Looking forward to trying the carbonara made the Italian way.
