Went last night, the food was hot, the roast pots were best I've ever tasted. The staff were very friendly and the chef )Lawrence) went out of his way to ensure you were happy with everything. I have visited several Stonehouse restaurants but this one, at Owler Bar, is by far the best. Can't praise it highly enough and I am normally hard to please.
14 of our family went to the Moorlands to celebrate my 60th birthday. I was a bit worried after seeing other negative reviews. How wrong could I have been!!! We were made to feel very welcome from the minute we arrived. All food was delivered as ordered and really nice and hot!!! The Manager kept checking that we were happy with everything. What more can I say. A really enjoyable evening.. Will definitely be back.
