Great micropub in hillsborough!!

Brilliant micro-pub with an ever-changing list of beers on tap, plus a huge range of bottles & cans. Seems to be one of few pubs on Middlewood Road that isn't a football/supporters place, so a good one for a Saturday afternoon if you're not that way inclined. Friendly, welcoming and inclusive, and the monthly quiz on a Sunday afternoon is great for relaxing indoorsDietary restrictions: A range of bar snacks, from your standard crisps to GF and vegan stuff. Same with the beer - some tasty non-alcoholic beers available, almost always in the fridge.Kid-friendliness: Regularly go with my partner and our two under-fives (especially to the quiz), there's a box of games for distraction, and I believe at one point we had a team of 9 for the quiz, 3 of whom were under 4.

Absolutely the best place in Hillsborough, by far. Lovely staff, friendly faces and a wicked selection.

Warm welcome, great atmosphere and some really good beers. They don't do food but are happy for you to get some from the local independent food places and bring it in.

Absolutely fantastic little spot; great selection of beers but also has quality wines and loads of non-alcoholic options too. The snack options are delicious and pair with the drink offerings nicely. Atmosphere here is super convivial and the staff are lovely. Very family and pet friendly too. We stop in here whenever we are in Sheffield, it's one of the best places there for craft beers (and the Sheffield craft beer scene is excellent so you know it's a high standard!). Wholeheartedly recommended ♡

Great experience, always welcoming. Staff really know they product, great at making recommendations. They carry small brands, the kegs are unique and designed to delight the tastebuds, the entire range means you are supporting independents, whilst enjoying top quality. I love that it’s dog friendly, and during the day my little one can enjoy a quiet book or game.

Pangolin Craft Beer is a brilliant friendly spot for a great beer! Friendly staff and always a varied selection on keg and cask, it's a warm community place for beer lovers. They also have a great selection of canned and bottled!

Brilliant local craft pub. Plenty of choice on draft and canned. I'm gluten free and there's always plenty I can drink. We love this boozer! ?✨️

As the founder of Rainbow Owls, Sheffield Wednesday's LGBTQ+ supporters' group, I can't recommend Pangolin Craft Beer highly enough. After all, their declaration of LGBTQ+ allyship (as well as being dog-friendly and child-friendly!) is consistent and sincere. The pale ales on tap and lager bottles in the fridge are delicious and reasonably priced, while the crisp flavours have enough variation for rotation purposes. Our student members have also raved about the affordability of their pineapple-flavoured beer! It's genuinely possible to have an evening out on a strict budget. The service is attentive, friendly and personable, but not intrusive. A great deal of thought has also been put into the seating layout and general décor, so this is clearly a pub that cares a great deal about their customers and their experience.Pangolin Craft Beer has succeeded in being a community-led pub, where you'll soon get to befriend the pub staff and regulars by name, without ever coming across as cliquey. It's Hillsborough's best pub by far, particularly for football fans who want a more peaceful pre- and/or post-match drink on Saturdays.

Beer is way too expensive. Like the atmosphere but 7.20 for paint it's London price ?‍?

Really wide choice of beer and more, snacks that are so delicious and a wonderful, community, friendly atmosphere the Pango is truly a fab place. Nick and the teams dedication to serving both a great evening and a great drink is clear and so appreciated. There's some wonderful bottle shop and bar combos in Sheffield, but I truly think the Pango is a cut above. No wonder they've won so many awards and are so widely loved. Plus, Rolo is clearly the king of dogs.Kid-friendliness: Always so accommodating with prams etc. Really appreciate the fully stocked changing table, so thoughtful!
