I took my 12 month old daughter here for Easter and I have actually never seen her soo excited and happy! So much for them to explore, lovely cafe on site- tidy and clean!

This is a real gem, a really good place to take little ones. There is a wonderful relaxed atmosphere. There are loads of toys and activities for the children and a well controlled, safe environment.Adults are well catered for, the food is really good and the coffee is excellent ?We really recommend this as an exceptionally good place for children.

Magical is what I would describe it. And I very rarely get so impressed by something, let alone a children's play center. This is different and gentle. Its not for kids above 7 years of age to be honest but my 5 year old and 1.5 year old loved it. The price is well worth it and tbh may be even a bargain. The staff is very polite and soft spoken. I had a huge pot of tea which was delish and reminded me of Victorian times while the kids were having fun. Thank you.

We didn’t eat there this time but everyone who did so seemed pleased with the food on offer and we probably will on future visits.Parking: The streets nearby seem very quiet with plenty of free on street parking available.Kid-friendliness: The staff were good with the children and all the children and parents made for a very good atmosphere generally.

I attended playtimes sensory classes and baby massage from my little one being 8 weeks old! I had also tried other classes and these are by FAR the best! The setting is amazing and so calming and inviting, for both parents and babies! The classes are relaxed but follow a structure and a new theme each week! I would often spend up to 2 hours there, having a coffee and a bite to eat following the class! I have now moved away from the area, I am gutted as I am yet to find anywhere that comes close to the experience I had at playtimes ?Thank you Lucy and Michelle! You will never know how much your classes helped me during those early days when I was finding my feet as a new mum! Keep doing what you are doing and please branch out to the north east

Kid-friendliness: Lovely play centre with such kind and caring staff. What makes this place stand out from the rest is that the staff make time to play with the children and interact with them. A lovely touch and makes the place very welcoming. Would highly recommend.

A fabulous Saturday play session. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will attend again soon. The equipment was set out amazingly and all very clean. The structure of the session was good and including a bubble break. The cafe was lovely. Not too many children and also enough for smaller children to do as well as older

I have taken my child to playtimes since she was born, moving through the classes and It has brought her out of her shell. She loves to join in with all aspects of the session. The atmosphere is amazing, the other parents are lovely and the staff are great. We love the tidy up time at the end as it teaches the children to help tidy up after themselves. I would highly recommend these classes to any of my friends and family.

Lucy and team are fantastic!! I've took my son to Playtimers since he was 8 weeks old until just recently when he's started nursery, he absolutely loved it. Weekends we attended the role play sessions and even had his 2nd birthday there. Lucy was so accommodating with the party (adjusting party food options, altering time and making it very person centred to my two year olds party WHICH HE LOVED!!!). This is a fantastic place to meet other mums and dad's. Beautiful cafe with great coffee, fantastic outdoor play too for the warmer months.
What a wonderful space for little ones to explore and learn. We have been attending baby bear sessions and have been to play sessions on Saturdays. There are different mini rooms with role play activities such as a vet area and a shop. My boys absolutely love it there. The staff are very kind and welcoming. Definitely recommend.Kid-friendliness: Perfect space for children. Lots of high chairs. Changing facility for babies too

Playtown is an absolutely amazing place. The owners work so hard & are really friendly and caring. The Venue is great for meeting up with friends for a bite to eat and the kids be able to play in a brilliant, fun, calm and spacious playspace. Highly recommend for anyone with younger children.

Lovely calm atmosphere and a fantastic selection of toys and different zones for my son to play in. The amount of places that can be booked help keep the group small so not overwhelming for children who might not like big groups.
