I ordered the Casareccia Della Casa, described to have a "creamy mushroom, panchetta & Madeira wine sauce". However, the dish was incredibly dry and had near to no sauce.I was offered a replacement which I declined as I had eaten enough already and didn't want to wait for a new meal. They then offered to remove the meal from the bill which was good. However, this dish should never make it out of a kitchen.The service was fine and my server was helpful and attentive, however the kitchen staff need better quality control.

I wish I had read the reviews before I booked for my sister-in-law's birthday... I have not submitted a negative review on Tripadvisor, for several years, but after Zizzi has just sent me a 'tailored' survey (that only allows you to comment on your own dish, then ends without allowing any comment re staff), I felt that I needed to bring our really poor experience to others attention: When 3 of the 4 starters arrived, we assumed that the 4th was on its way. After 5 minutes, I enquired where my wife's starter had gone. It arrived after a further 5 minutes had passed and as nobody wanted to start their meal without her, everyone's starters had gone cold. There was a quick apology, but no offer to reheat our starters and we then noticed that my wife's starter was way overcooked, so it had probably been sat cooking/forgotten about. My wife had just finished with her starter when a waitress brought 3 of the 4 mains. The waitress then stood looking at our table and waited for us to clear our own table and swap our dishes with her. I then enquired after my own missing main dish and was told that it was on its way. I insisted that the others start their mains, so as not to repeat the starter course. My main arrived 5 minutes later. I was still eating my main and everyone had just finished theirs, when a waitress came to our table and asked if anyone wanted to order dessert, before realising that I was still eating. My sister-in-law was also told that she could not have the cocktail she had ordered as they had run out of one of the ingredients. I know this wasn't the staff's fault, but by this point it was just adding to the ongoing issues. We weren't expecting Michelin star levels, but were expecting the basics and to have a pleasant evening meal, which did not happen. Please note, that the above involved 3 different members of staff!

Such a lovely Thursday evening dinner with my friend tonight. Had the very delicious Pinoli pizza, very quickly made and extremely delicious. The service from Ruchika was amazingly attentive and she was full of positive energy! Will definitely be coming back again, student discount was also useful!
