Ordered a Christmas gift on 20/12 and paid for DPD 1-day delivery to ensure it would arrive in time. Item never arrived. Received an automated "order refunded" email on 28/12 with no explanation or apology.

I made an online order, using this company over (cheaper!) Amazon, as they’re a physical store and wanted to support the high street even if I wasn’t able to get to a store. They refunded my order three days after the purchase without reason. I assume it’s because they don’t keep accurate stock levels on their website. The basic refund email suggests I returned the item (I did not) and makes no mention of the P&P being refunded as well. Terrible service, use Amazon or John Lewis instead if you’re considering buying from here.

Ordered a Barbour scarf on Monday and paid 6.95 gbp more for next day delivery.Now is Friday and according to dpd they tried to collect the parcel but the store was not ready… this is a Christmas gift for my father and tomorrow I have the flight to Italy.Customer service apologise but then disappear when I told them they need to refund the money I paid for a service I never got. (They obviously need to refund the next day delivery as they failed miserably and made me pay for that).Maybe the in person store is ok but if you want reliability buy from Amazon and stay away from them

I purchased a pair of leather boots only to receive a secondhand pair that have been worn. I thought it was just a battered box. I am disgusted and can’t get anyone in the phone. As I have paid my daughter will not be getting her Xmas present. Never again. I actually did not want to give any stars but needed to post this review

The worst customer service ever. I ordered a pair of UGG slippers to be delivered. They never turned up as Sandersons had given the courier DPD the wrong delivery address. After several emails to Nicole I was told there was nothing that could be done, even though the mistake was with them, so the outcome is I have paid for a pair of slippers and delivery and have not received them.
Today i visited this gorgeous looking shop but what made it is the service! Thank you to an individual called Louise s she was absolutely brilliant went above and beyond to help, very professional and such a pleasant person. Thank you so much!!

I absolutely adore this store. Exactly what we needed locally. A local family run department store with amazing customer service. You really are made to feel special as soon as you walk through the door.Some stunning products, alot of which I was already purchasing but having to trudge into a town centre to try on and purchase.I'm shocked at the low reviews from people that say it's too expensive or that they havn't even been in. That doesn't justify a negative review unfortunately it just means this particular store isn't suited to your budget. The store doesn't dictate the cost of an item theyt stock. These are all branded items where the brand itself says what the minimum it should be sold for. And if you did your research as I do (as I like to get the best price on items) you'll find that sandersons is usually one of the most competitive stockists of them all .I highly recommend this store. There are not many shops nowadays that greet you as you enter and offer assistance. ?

Joke company do not buy. I spent £195 on a fragrance here which is a lot of money for one item, only to receive an email 2 days later/the day before delivery accusing me of fraud then saying they will be refunding my money (which I have not received) & then they had the cheek to ask me to order it from them again but through PayPal instead after accusing me of fraud… I ordered the fragrance from my own bank to my own address with my own money. First & last time using this website I’ll spend my money + the extra at Selfridges or Harrods (well established & reliable) instead & suggest you do the same. Will update if I don’t receive the refund they are supposedly giving me & take further action, unreliable, waste of time & money save yourself the hassle.

This shop doesn’t attempt to mimic the larger quality clothing stores. It has its own quality stamp and quality standards. Its displays are well laid out and contain some top quality components. Together with the professional and friendly staff, they have replaced John Lewis as my place to shop.
