Great breakfast. We had it included with the B&B. It was cooked fresh and was very hot. Service was great and everyone was super friendly.

Antlers started off so well a couple of years ago. Alas, since the owner's maternity leave in the summer it has plummeted to the depths. We waited 45 minutes or more for 2 veggie breakfasts and on enquiring how much longer they would be were told by the very disengaged young man waiting on, that it took much longer for vegetarian food to be cooked. I had been offered a choice of egg style and opted for poached. What came out was an egg clearly fried in water. Obviously the cook had no idea how to poach an egg. It was watery and unpleasant. Burned to a crisp veggie bacon, disintegrating hash brown ... I could go on and on. We are local and there were other customers so I tried to say quietly to the waiter that it was not great to be met, as with another reviewer, with a very bland and slightly sardonic reply: "sorry about that". We have tried to support the business, which has mostly been okay, but we won't be going again, or recommending it, until things change. It even looks sad now, out of hours, with blinds carelessly dropped at night. What a shame.

Needed somewhere nice to eat and Antlers didn't disappoint. Lovely, friendly staff, great atmosphere and scrummy food in a beautiful location, definitely recommend.

Slow service, coffee had gone cold by the time my teacake arrived. Both were particularly small and therefore over priced.

We are regular visitors to Antlers and have previously enjoyed our breakfasts. Today we were served cold food. I mentioned it at the counter and received a bland ‘Sorry about that” from the male staff member. I asked if my comments would be passed on, “Yes” was the reply. £17.90 for 2 small, cold breakfasts!!! Just not good enough.

Great for breakfast or lunch. Plenty of options, and great cakes too. Lovely staff. Food could be just a bit warmer at times.Vegetarian options: Oatcakes with your choice of two toppings were good.

Took my son, asked for a Sprite and water, came in glasses that looked like they needed to go through dishwasher again, with no ice or lemon on a very hot day, asked for a cheese salad sandwich came as a cheese pickle sandwich, smiling waitress apologised and changed it for me, came back with bits of pickle in the plain cheese sandwich. Would have complained but already had once and on a hot day couldn’t be bothered, sons sandwich looked fine.

Im sorry - this the 4th and last time I will eat here - waited 10 minutes for a table and a further 15 minutes for our order to be taken - we were then informed food would take a further 30 minutes. 45 minutes later our drinks arrived and after another 15 minutes - so did the food - shocking quality - terrible service.
