Really enjoyed dropping in to The Red Lion whilst on a walk in the area. The bread rolls were fab and the staff great. We even got to sit in the BBC (Boring B***ards Corner)!

I have been frequenting the red lion for the past 18 months & would like to give credit where it is due.In a challenging period where a lot of village pubs are closing down it is good to see that due to the landlords (Rob) welcoming nature ,friendly staff & selection of well kept beers that I feel part of the local community.I am looking forward to seeing his outstanding array of flower displays in the summer & enjoying one of his cheese & onion cobs in his well kept beer garden .

A very nice friendly pub popped in for a business and sat comfortably, the locals were very friendly. Staffordshire honey on sale behind the bar which I could not resist. Overall great.

Since moving to the village 5 years ago I stupidly left it 3 years before coming to the Red Lion. I now feel part of the community thanks to Rob and his wonderful team. Every other weekend my partner David and I come to the Red Lion, where we are always welcomed by Rob and the local community. The food, especially the cheese & onion cobs are blinking delicious. The new cocktail menu is dangerous but just lovely!Always an entertaining night with plenty of fun and frolics to be had!????

A really nice looking pub and a good pint. Unfortunately the staff seemed very reserved and when asking if they serve food we were told no and 5 mins later they same girl took food to a table round the back. Very annoying since we had just walk 6 miles.
