Recently dropped in for some food and where greeted warmly with the dogs, staff are lovely and the the atmosphere was good, sadly the two sirloins we ordered where perhaps the worst chewy pieces of steak I’ve ever eaten one medium the other rare but came medium, the rest of the food was fine but these bits of meat where terrible. Having been a Grill chef in my twenties and lucky enough to eat out often I know what a rare piece of sirloin should taste like and this wasn’t close, I’d be having a chat with your supplier.

A fantastic Sunday roast! We booked here to eat after a dog walk around Cannock Chase. Highly recommend - we will be back again if ever in the area.

Worst service ever received. As a table of 6 we were in the restaurant for 2 hours and 49 minutes which for 2 courses is ridiculous! We chose in the end to not have a third course for fear that we would be waiting for another hour for that course to arrive. The food was good (when it eventually arrived) but the service brought the whole experience down. It was such a shame as this was a celebration meal and that we rarely go out for dinner that it felt like such a waste of our time and money. I think it will be unlikely that we will be returning soon unless the service can be improved considerably!
