You state you’re a ‘friendly pub’ and you’re appearing to support the lionesses today, BUT you’ve just kicked a fuss up at a female customer who’s been in your pub for being gay… you asked ID a someone who is clearly 27 years old, the clear message from your bar staff today is homophobia… my girlfriend asked “what do you want to drink babe” then you asked me for my ID. HOMOPHOBIA IS NOT OK!!!!!

Really nice traditional pub, remains unspoilt (not had any major revamp over the years) great selection of real ales & beers,pleasant outside smoking area,Julie the landlady very accommodating on catering for your occasion,be it birthday,christening or bereavement.Recently had my father's funeral held there, and could not have asked for anymore! Food was divine keep up the good work!Would of give you Six ?'s if I could but Five will have to do!!Simon & Vicky x
