It was my 51st birthday and everyone and i do mean everyone was absolutly amazing, i can never fault the staff, food or drinks in that place its always spot on definatly the best sizzling pubs pub ive ever been and will ever go to. Shannon ashley deserves a lot of respect shes a complete star along with the rest of her staff. Thank you also to the chef who did my brownie.

Yet another casual evening meal with friends. The food gets better & the SPECIAL PUDDING always goes down a treat. Whether you want a snack meal or a hot meal there is always something to entice the pallet. The Team of staff run by Debbie are all so welcoming & go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. There's no rush to select your meal & the food is always cooked fresh. The clients visiting Wulstan go from strength to strength....this proves all the staff work together as a great team.

Excellent service all round! Nothing was too much trouble. Personal needs were catered for and adaptations made. The children’s breakfast was a great option and just the right sized portion. Great choice of dishes available at a reasonable price. Staff work extremely hard and make you feel very welcome….

The staff were wonderful and friendly, service was great too. Sadly the food was awful, chewy grisly steak and foul tasting mushrooms. Won't be going again, very disappointing.

Came here for a funeral wake Place is dirty daughter dropped something on floor picked it up and carpet was filthy along with table legs not been cleaned in months window sills filthy with dust and dead insects and curtains have holes in them!!! Food splattered on ceiling and walls!!! Staff disorganised and bitching about each other in front of customers and one blonde haired elderly bar person even shouted ‘fu@@ off’ to someone on the car park which has kids and elderly people on it could not believe what I was seeing and hearing like a comedy sketch from phoenix nights in fact more like a 70’s working mens club than a family pub Thank goodness I don’t have to come back to this place Only goodish thing was the food and the locals who were friendly but other than that the place is truly awful

A terrible experience with rude staff and awful food .I dont usually review unless a place is outstanding. ..But everything about last nights experience was awful .Customer care zero ..very rude waitress that spoke to us in the most patronising way ...Service zero ...even though there was a family group I ended up eating on my own as everyone had finished by the time my meal came ...Food =worst steak I have ever had ...overcooked ..food stuck to unclean skilletTalking of cleanliness....wipe your feet on the way out ...Will be sharing my opinion with all my friends and family ...I wont be returning....ever .
Good quality food, prompt and pleasant service. One of our many midweek visits with family made so much better with 40% offKid-friendliness: All children made welcome which is especially good when dining with family

34 people attended my Retirement 13/10/23 The Landlady Deb felt more like a friend addressing all my requirements and requests so that the evening went according to plan communication been key for such a large order All my party were made to feel welcome my request for a meet and greet table with drinks was provided and set out nicely All staff were attentive to our needs questions and requests The meals were very good value tasty and all 34 came out piping hot and on time well done chef and the Wulstan Team headed by the landlady of the year in my opinion I will be returning regularly and my party will be recommending and considering future celebrations here highly recommended thank You all for making my evening special Angie x

Lovely little pub, food is delicious and reasonably priced. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Free drinks with certain meals, 2 for 10.50 meals as well.

very poor meal l had simon the plate was swimming with oil rice very hard chips covered with this cheese dressing ordered a sweet it took them over 45 mins till it came to our table plus the staff just seemed not at all friendle .

Fabulous food. Staff not the happiest. I heard them moaning about another member of staff. Another staff member telling someone she works with idiots. Not good. Took my grandaughter to the toilet and to be quite honest the language was disgusting. Never heard so much f ing. Loved our food though so value for money
