So we stopped at this little cafe while taking a break from a event we was at. We was all very impressed by the cost of the food and the quality of the food that was served to us. The owner was a really friendly person. We had a full English breakfast and it was really goood. We all enjoyed the food.Worth a stop at if you are in the area. We will be back. We can't recommend this place a enough.

Very friendly welcome with almost instant bonus biscuits as you selected your food. Extremely reasonable prices too. A very traditional style cafe in the centre of Penkridge, both in terms of decor and menu. Cash only. Open Sundays which I think is a huge plus with so many cafes electing not to.

Popped in when the cafe we were going too had problems so glad we did the Owner was amazing nothing was too much trouble we both had ham eggs and chips with bonus beans which were the best we have had in a long time lovely cup of tea and the prices were really cheap its a pity we were only passing by whilst on our narrow boat wish we had somewhere like this where we live

Stopped at this lovely little cafe en route to Scotland and was so impressed by the value, quality and service that I felt a positive review was well earned. The owner was really friendly and our cooked breakfast was delicious, served with a proper mug of hot tea. Very reasonably priced, good food so top marks all round for this quaint little cafe.

Owner and customers alike very welcoming, popped in this morning before going on boat trip, food was excellent, two of us had full breakfasts and our partners had sandwiches, and no-one left hungry.

I can only leave an honest review, the place was dirty, food very poor quality and service rubbish. Took 40 minutes for food to arrive, my husbands breakfast first, then mine 15 minutes later. His was cheap, greasy and just nasty. I ordered a cheese toastie, 2 pieces of hard burnt toast arrived and I thought he has forgotten to put the cheese on. Looked again and it was cheese spread! Complained and he didn’t want to know, will not be back or recommend.
