Booked a table for lunch by phone. Arrived at 1245 and pub locker up. Stood in freezing cold until booking time of 1pm. Eventually attracted attention of gentleman in the bar who refused to come out and talk to us but shouted through window that there was no booking. Thoroughly disgusted. Won't be back.
Lisa, Dave and the team at the Bagot are great. The food is amazing, company is welcoming and very decently priced.

A quality local pub, good beer (always 2 or 3 real ales on tap) and a good varied menu, including very popular Steak Night in Thursday's. Staff take trouble to make all welcome. Highly regarded locally.Parking: Free off-road parking.

Just popped in for a quick drink while on a ride out and thoroughly enjoyed it, had a nice chat with the landlord and thought what a really good place to spend some time.

In a word.. Excellent. Went to the Bagot Arms for the first time tonight and can't say enough about food, the staff, the pub. Foods out of this world, staff are friendly and helpful and the pub is great. We will definitely be going back.5/7/22Weng back for another meal and surprise suprise another first class meal. Excellent service, excellent service, excellent staff.
