“Came here for the Sunday lunch offer of a free dessert after 4pm if you buy a carvery main course.
Booked in advance and were seated promptly. The waitress took our drinks order, and they arrived shortly afterwards. Ordered 2 x carvery main courses. The chef was friendly, and we opted for all 3 meats available, Yorkshire pudding, stuffing, and a selection of vegetables. I chose the baked cheesecake with a raspberry coulis for dessert, but it was served with clotted cream, which was a bit odd, I would have preferred ice cream.
It was busy, and the restaurant is toasty warm. Overall, I'd happily return.”
