Very nice restaurant, food excellent and fantastic deserts too. Service good. Atmosphere a bit too bright for a romantic evening, no candle on table. Back door that people were using made it freezing cold every time it was opened. A bit too expensive but overall a very pleasant evening.Parking: There is a paid parking lot at other end of high street round corner but quite a walk. Street parking is possible.

Good Italian-style food served by very attentive staff. We had starters and mains, but unfortunately, no space left for food.

Ave been to Pasta di Piazza several.times before, but the quality of service looks to have gone downhill recently. Despite not being busy it took a long time to be seated and have drinks/our order taken. The linch menu advertises foccacia (which in was looking forward to) but what actually arrived was is a mini thin crust garlic pizza!

Had one of the best meals ever, never thought I'd top a meal I had in Brittany (sea bass in fennel sauce) but this was absolutely gorgeous compliments to the chef, I had chicken in a lovely lemon sauce with asparagus,

Great food and great service, it was a bit chilly in there but isn't everyone struggling with their energy bills. Will certainly be going again

Great meal with friends with exceptional food and quite a comprehensive drink selection. Our favourite dishes were the Gnocchi Al Forno, Risotto Primavera all Zafferino & the Tortolini Quattro Formaggio. Honourable mention to the asparagus side too, absolutely delicious food. The atmosphere is gorgeous - really nice and cosy with comfortable seating & a nice refined ambience. The resturant and bathrooms were absolutely spotless clean & the festive decorations were a lovely touch The Pinot Grigio was great, a good solid all rounder that paired well with all of our dishes. Finding a restaurant with Cruzcampo on draft is always a winner in our eyes, you can never go wrong with a good quality beer! Pasta Di Piazza only gets 4* because we felt like the service was lacking a bit of polish. The only server who actually got our drinks order correct first time was a young man that helped bus the food and garnished our dishes. He was so polite and attentive. Unfortunately some of the other staff were a bit dismissive, with one gentleman turning his back to us as soon as we’d finished putting our drinks order through. He then proceeded to leave the table before one of our party could explain that he’d been given the wrong drink. When the food arrived one our party had to be quite abrupt in asking for one of the sides that was missing & it was quite clearly a rushed dish that felt out of place with the other mains & sides. Overall a great meal with friends but service could certainly do with a bit of a tune-up.

The service is exceptional and the food is excellent. Great portions and great tasting variety of food and drink to choose from. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in

Always a great atmosphere. Birthday celebration for 27+2 babes in arms. The food was great, the staff were first class, the evening was enjoyed by everybody. The Nero D'Avola was spot on. The tiramisu was just perfect!Parking: £1 after 6.Kid-friendliness: They love kids.

Been in recently for a group meal, we sat by the glass area, we were served by a very rude woman who came to take our drinks order and they never arrived! when we asked the lady for them as we were waiting awhile she confronted us telling us to wait a min when its been like 20! The way she spoke to us was very rude and she seemed to be someone important as she was dressed differently, we got served by another waitress that was nice and asked not to be served by that lady again! Food was good, we enjoyed eating there but the way we were treated wont make us return again, staff should have propper training , seen better service at Whetherspoons! Shame really, food was indeed good but the service is definetely a turn off

Visited for my mums birthday on a Friday afternoon. Seated at a lovely table and greeted warmly by the waiter. Very impressive menu selection and some beautiful looking specials. We shared some starters of cured meats and bruschetta and both had seafood filled pasta as a main. The food was incredible, the selection of meats plentiful and accompanied by a fresh salad. Beautifully presented and tasty bruschetta and I’m struggling to find the right words to justify how good the filled pasta was. Just delicious. All topped off with some wonderful wine and great service. Staff couldn’t be more friendly. Highly, highly recommend and we cannot wait to return soon.

We visited on the 2nd November this week to celebrate our Sons Birthday we arrived after a very bad journey due to the "storm" we had this week. We asked when booking if we could have a table where we could have a conversation while having dinner( this was because we had a visitor with us from Germany) but when we arrived we were sat at a table right by the door where we were met by cold and wind every time the door was opened and constant noice from the staff throwing cutlery in to where it is stored. We have used here many many times over the year's and the food and staff were always very good however this time the staff were not good! we sat for a long time without a drinks menu or food menu!! we were then asked if we would like a drink? .(before we had seen what was on offer) We also found all the menu were all in need of a wipe as they had a every dirty feel!! We came out feeling very "let down" with both food and service nothing like we had before for many visits.
