Me and my partner came here for a lovely cosy birthday meal. Although busy it didn’t feel like you were in a busy or awfully crowded place. It was well lit, intimate and you had lots of personal space. The food was amazing and especially for my girlfriend who is completely fussy with food but she loved it! We had a starter and a main course plus drinks. The place was incredibly friendly, atmosphere was romantic and we were cared for by our waitress, nothing was too much trouble. Excellent place and we couldn’t fault it. Attended for a corporate event, food luke warm, it was ok but not good enough to recommend glad I wasn't paying for it. 3 course meal and none of it great. Staff great very attentive and a lovely venue with good choice of drinks. Just need to sort vegan snd gluten free options and make sure the food is hot!

Always love the Wayfarer. Took my wife for a surprise birthday lunch and was able to pre book balloons and prosecco that were at the table when we arrived.Food was fantastic and the service was great, our waiter was very entertaining and kept my wife's glass topped up without us asking once!It can get busy in the evenings so when we can we prefer to grab lunch there.Plenty of parking and just off the A34 main road so easy to get to.
