Excellent fish and chip shop. Beautiful fresh haddock and cod, well cooked in crispy batter. Good chip shop-style chips, and mushy peas / fruity-style curry sauce. Genuinely friendly

I popped in today for the first time ever, I have passed many times over the years. Really glad that I stopped, I ordered fish, chips and peas, while I was waiting for my fresh food to be cooked, we chatted and the banter in there was just great, I felt as though I had used the place all my life, the food was perfectly cooked, the chips are the best that I have had in ages. The peas were home made and had a slight taste of bicarb, just as they should. Gorgeous.I will return and I would too highly recommend.See you again folks.Parking: Parking on the frontage and adjacent pub.

Service was shocking as we had a list and still explained our long order and gave them the list all writing down they forgot 3 items which we paid over £40 for . They forgot a fish and chips , 2 battered sausages. The food has given me and my dad bad stomachs made us very poorly both had the day off work. the food was all burnt to crisp . The fish and chips had bones in so couldn’t eat it as was afraid of choking and put me off. We never normally come to this chippy and our local one was closed . We certainly won’t be coming back . staff were rude and confusing making out they didn’t charge us for a certain meal when they already charged us twice. paid £40+ and forgot most of our order. Appalling food and service don’t waste your time and money!

You certainly can't complain about the portion sizes at Waltons. I had a Haddock and chips. The haddock was big and the chips were a big portion

Sadly we both agreed that this was the worst fish and chips I can remember eating in a long time. Although it is local it is not the normal shop that we would use. Both the fish and chips were really dry although the fish was cooked freshly, it was overcooked. We will not be returning and would recommend others to use the Chip shop in Trentham. Also above air conditioning units need wiping as they are really dirty

Best breaded Haddock I’ve tasted south of the border. Couple of big spoonfulls of Tartare Sauce and it’s a banquet.

Large chips and mini fish £8-90 so expensive for a small overcooked fish and very few chips. Blonde lady serving very rude , we all have to go to work but put a smile on your face.

We came all the way from bloxwich and your chips And service was second to none that means very good. We pull up by the river and tuck in

Excellent best chippy and staff in stoke on Trent x Take our visitors all the time very friendly well worth it the kebabs are brill as well
Car park can be busy. Never had a bad chippy dinner from here. Drive to Walton when visiting family rather than use their local chippy as the quality here is excellent. Never had a bad meal. Freshly cooked Fish and chips but the short wait is worth it

Absolutely disgusting fish and chips. We spent nearly £60 on large cod and chips and it wasn’t even a medium never mind large. Swimming in grease with that scummy grease taste has left us all feeling a little sick! Avoid this place and either use eccleshall or the priory fish and chip shop, at least you don’t get ripped off at these and the food is actually eatable

Having been brought up at the seaside, I. Have high standards when it comes to chippy tea!! Since moving to Stone, Walton has become the chippy of choice. Fish cooked to order and always excellent. Happy to wait a couple of minutes longer for freshly cooked fish rather than one thats been sat under the hotplate for a while. Staff are always polite and friendly. More often than not you're queued out the door but it's worth the wait.

Huge fish portion with perfectly crisp batter, beautifully cooked and thick chips and although it may not be what they are known for, it was possibly the best mixed kebab I've ever had. Great quality all round.
