This was my first visit here in years when it was much more of an American diner. My first impressions were of a noisy, bright, warm, homely, welcoming atmosphere with excellent, cheerful, attentive and obliging service. Frankie and Bennies in general are very much geared to an informal fa.ily frie day evening where children in particular can celebrate their birthdays. "Happy birthday to yer, happy birthday to yer.." I had a glass of excellent chilled Pignon Grigio, deep fried mozzarella stocks with a very indifferent tomato dip; lasagne, a side salad and, for the inappropriate hell of it, some onion rings. The lasagne was average at best and had obviously been standing whilst I ate my starter (why do such restaurants do that?), the salad crisp and fresh and the onion rings were deep fried onion rings. I followed this with two scoops of vanilla ice cream and an awful Americano and diluted foamy cream. The meal was below average in quality but the ambiance of the restaurant was excellent.

Had a delivery ordered 2 burger meals and chicken strips. 1 of the burgers was wrong so called up and explained spoke to a man. He explained to what I assume was the manager who did nothing but shout at the bloke that I was lying as she had checked the order herself. (I could hear the shouting down the phone) She then came onto the phone and began to tell me that the burger is right and I was wrong. I ordered a classic burger with bacon. I got a bbq chicken burger with hash brown. Not sure how you get those 2 mixed up. The staff did NOTHING. told me they would make another burger but I would have to collect it. The reason u had a deliverery is because i do NOT drive. I applied for a refund and was denied i asume that the manager lady had something to do with that. Absolutely disgusting service will not be using them again.

My experience here was fantastic was a proper atmosphere in a nice family friendly restaurant. My server Nile was purely fantastic making sure my experience was splendid. Hats off to the chef as well he knows how to make a lasagne?

I loved this place but it seems like it's on its last legs. The food was really nice but the menu gets smaller and smaller every time. It's lost that New York Italian vibe it was once famous for and now offers nothing more than posher subway style menu.To add, you also need to pay for parking which makes it a tough decision when dining here.

We always visit this restaurant for a nice chilled meal. The atmosphere is always good and the waiters are attentive. On this visit we were served by Nile who made sure everything was perfect with our orders and that we enjoyed our food. Outstanding service as usual!

The New Yorker chicken we visited this place about few weeks ago.We waiting almost hour before our food have been served. I've paid 17 pounds for the this meal it came on plate, but plastic tray underneath which was cold anyway. Portion was small, it looked mess even the service had agreed they wouldn't eat there and its not valued for the money.! This was the last time I was visiting the place.

Can hear at our sons request for his birthday meal (22.11). The young guy who looked after our table was lovely and made us feel so welcome. He’s a credit to you.

Visited on Saturday night as a group of 8. 4 adults, 4 children. We were served by Heather who was unbelievable. She was so attentive to our needs; and went above and beyond to help us. She was brilliant with the kids and made the meal out with young children really easy. I never usually write reviews but needed to on this occasion to rate service at its best.

this was my children's first visit to Frankie and Bennys and they had a wonderful experience the person serving us was Claire and she was so good with us and the children she was patient and kind and even help my eldest chose something as she has a reaction to milk and dairy would definitely recommend to anyone.

The customer service was excellent despite the restaurant being busy. Service was swift and the staff were on the ball and very attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was perfect and exactly what we needed after a long day out at Drayton Manor. We were two adults and one toddler and there was plenty of choice on the menus to satisfy everyone. Very happy with our choice of dining venue. Thank you to the staff for looking after us so well :)

Turned up at 8pm with no reservation. Manager on the door was really friendly and got us a booth that had just been vacated and cleaned. Always love the food at F&B and since our local(ish) one has closed down, a cheeky visit after our trip to Drayton Manor.

Had a great meal on a Friday evening with friends, very busy but service was still attentive. Pizza was excellent and so was the garlic bread with cheese.
