A choice of three meats and plenty of vegetables to choose from. Everything kept nice and hot. All the usual accompaniments that you expect in this type of restaurant. Friendly, helpful staff. Free parking outside.

We visited for a birthday meal while we where in the area, all had a carvery and thoroughly enjoyed it. The cheesecake for dessert was absolutely gorgeous very light and flavoursome. Staff where friendly and attentive we where 40 minutes early to our booking but they seated us anyway which was incredibly kind as the restaurant was incredibly busy with it being a Sunday afternoon.

Want too put a big shout out to shell who works here bless her organised afternoon tea for the first time was really yummy worked really well the set up was warm amd welcoming ? hopefully she will do other afternoon tea for different occasions well done great job and team work .x

We went as a family to the event and also stayed bye for a carvery, Shell was amazing, she gave everyone jubilee flags and crowns and was great help to her team. She was outside the whole time and even joined in with holding the animals!

Wow….. what can I say, shell has done an amazing job at celebrating this special occasion, I went with family who also had an amazing experience, great atmosphere, great food and service. Even so I asked if this could be done for a birthday celebration ?

Called in for breakfast which was buffet/ all you can eat style. Chelsea was extremely friendly, helpful and superb in her service. The breakfast was great, plenty of choice, fresh cooked. Unlimited tea and coffee, all for a very fair price. Would recommend and we would definitely return when in area.

Popped in for lunch today, had a short wait, to be expected with how busy it was, definitely worth the wait, had the bbq chicken, was so succulent, hot and full of flavour

Went today (Tuesday). So much to chose from. All fresh and very hot. My boys love the pizza where I love the waffles. Fills you up for most of the day. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Will definitely visit again

I used to go to the Pretty Pigs on a regular basis with a crowd of friends. We would have a carvery and spend the whole evening there spending plenty of money on drinks, then the pub changed hands and the food quality went down so we stopped going. Recently we were told the food was back to a good quality so thought we would give it another try. It was terrible. I was served a couple of thin slivers of meat which were mostly fat and I paid extra for pigs in blankets which nearly broke my teeth as they were like bullets. The rest of the food was luke warm and the roasters were old and dry. I dont go out for meals expecting to get freebies. I want to get what I pay for, which is a decent meal. The Pretty Pigs is a lovely pub in lovely grounds which serves good beer. It`s such a shame they can`t get that food quality back. BTW we ate at 19.30 Friday night and the place was empty.

Had a bit of a rough time of things lately so I took my partner out for dinner. The staff are lovely and cheerful. The food was great! Freshly cooked and enough to strain your belt. My fiancee had the carvery and I had the simply cheeseburger and wedges. Absolutely fantastic! Big thumbs up. Definitely cheered us up

Booked a table for 5 of us as we were visiting close by, waitress failed to get the drinks order right twice and it was only soft drinks. Food ordered took nearly 45 minutes to arrive, chips and burgers were cold, children's meal cold and very small, the only food served that was hot was from the carvery and that was apparently very good. Bill came and was wrong and even though we had told them the food was cold thery initially chose to do nothing about it. Would certainly not eat here again.

From the second me and my family walked into this warm and hospitable pub . Its run by a truly fantastic manager called Dan and he had utterly fantastic staff working with him . Millie your attention to detail , making our visit so memorable . I had a carvery and the value for money is second ot none and 1 of my sons had "The Works" ,the birthday boy had a pizza ,my wife had the fish and finally my youngest had a burger . Dan brought out the birthday cake and it effectively topped off a wonderful meal with me and the family . Really enjoyed the Beef and Gammon and I absolutely cannot thank the staff enough . Thank you Millie , Heather ,Elayne,Bobby ,Tom and if there is anyone else I should mention then you helped ensure a wonderful night .Keep up the good work .
