The Wolferstan was always classed as our ‘local’ pub. We last visited there about 18 months ago and to be perfectly honest it was thoroughly disgusting. The food wasn’t fit for the dustbin.Anyway, after talking to a friend, and as we were passing by, we called in to give it a try.What a difference. Food was beautiful and beer range was extremely good.The waiter, Brad, is a real credit to the industry and I wish every restaurant hired people of this ability. Thank Brad.Needless to say, we will now be visiting again.

We arrived with a newborn baby in a pram and we had requested a table with room for the pram with our on line booking. We were offered 2 alternatives. The service was quick and friendly. Extensive menu offering a good choice of meals at responsible prices. All meals ordered were tasty and cooked well. Had a lovely afternoon there, would definitely return.

Awaiting a delivery so short of food. However we were told they had what we'd ordered in stock.When it came there were several omissions that we hadn't been told about - the Maple Kebab had no salad, onions or peppers. The curry my wife had came with no Cocunut rice.We should have been told that they couldn't supply the meal as listed.We were expected to pay full price.

I booked a table for 7 people to celebrate my birthday. The service was slow, waiting over half an hour for the food to arrive. The food was appalling, all meals were cold, the beef was impossible to cut, the chips were in a large ball after clearly being re-heated and to top it all there was a hair in one of the meals! We asked for another drink which didn’t arrive so went to the bar to order. After 15 minutes the drinks still hadn’t arrived so we asked for the bill. We were given a discount and then went elsewhere as we were all still hungry. Some of my relatives had travelled from Manchester for my “birthday meal” The whole day was totally ruined.

The location in nice, The place is clean and presented well. The staff are all very polite and knowledgeable. The service was very good. The food was also very good, hot and lots of flavour. The fish that we had was all fish in the batter, not just the middle. The pie I had was great tasting and meaty.All in all a great meal

Had a lovely date night meal with my husband, in a nice cosy spot.Staff were very attentive, professional and polite.It was clean, tidy, had plenty to choose from at the bar and on the menu. They also had a seperate Gluton Free menu.Price wise it was very reasonable and they also do specials nights.We will certainly be going back again.Parking: Very large car park for the size of the building. Two parking lots.Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible from the front and back of the building.
