We had a family meal there last night and the food and service was amazing! The staff were friendly and attentive, and nothing was too much trouble. The food was incredible and the kids loved it too. Highly recommend.

Our Room (5) was a lovely comfortable room. Had a side view of the river. The floors were sloping slightly towards the bathroom, but did not cause problems. The patio is a lovely spot on a sunny day.The staff were amazing - friendly and chatty, nothing too much trouble. Food was excellent. The location from the road could be better signposted (sign quite small).Perhaps a shower mat for the bath would be handy - bath surface very slippery.

Went for a lunchtime meal. Surroundings fantastic, view to die for, toilets exceptional. I thought my whole fish to be a bit small but very tasty. The rest of our party were bowled over. First class.

Just popped in for a drink by the river. Wonderful bar location and very friendly staff. If you visit by car, remember to enter your car reg at the bar.

A friend and I went here for an evening meal, before attending an event in the town Hall. As it was a lovely warm evening we chose to sit outside. The hotel is situated beside the river so lovely scenery to enjoy. Many others had the same idea as ourselves, and although busy the staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. A good choice of food on the menu, prices compare well with other places where I've eaten. I had the salmon with crushed potato and wilted Lettuce and it was very tasty. It is easy to over cook salmon, (I have a tendency to do that myself!) but this was cooked to perfection. Dogs are allowed in the garden eating area and it was nice to see they had a water station with bowls for the use of dogs accompanying their human diners. This is an old building by the riverside, and because of its situation the paved garden is on a slight slope and a little uneven in places. I have some mobility problems, but didn't find walking through the outdoor dining area an issue, but care is needed. It all adds to the ambience, and attractiveness of the area. There is a small car park, which again is on a slope. However it's only a short walk from the town centre, so parking in town is another option. I would recommend a visit, and I hope to be back again soon.

Had a lovely lunch and drinks beside the river. Staff are young but they care and do a good job.

I was taken here by a friend for my birthday lunch. What a beautiful setting. We sat right by the river on a glorious summer day. Flatbreads were good too

A lovely place to go & a nice location. Can be a calming place but comes to a vibrant life by the river on the evenings they put entertainment on.

Had an enjoyable evening with friends. Food delicious. Good service. Cost of wine by the glass was extortion.
