Good service and everyone pleased with the food (the chicken wings, steak, burgers are all good). Service was attentive and prompt. Huck is expensive for what you get but that's Centerparcs...

Myself and my Partner visited Hucks Elveden Mid January for lunch. The decor is actually nice and i can imagine that there is a good ambience in the evening and is great for families. The staff were all really nice, like what you’d expect from Center Parcs employees everyone has a smile and is friendly. The reason I put two stars was due to this being a food establishment and it really let itself down. We had a cheeseburger and an ultimate burger (with bacon). The cheese burger was £14.50 and ultimate burger was £16.50. The quality of the food was just not there. If you compare it to the quality of burgers at establishments like Five Guys. There is just no competition. The burgers definitely tasted frozen. All that was on both were the patty, cheese and bacon. It was served with a side of fries and coleslaw. I understand that it’s likely not the chefs faults just the quality of produce they are working with given by management in order to make their respective mark ups. We did not notify staff of this, because it’s not their fault. It’s the company itself and would likely go unanswered. We also had to hit the road quite fast and had to shoot, and if we were offered deserts or free drinks it would have been pointless Center Parcs is a fantastic place to visit, I only recommend any of the other establishments where you know what to expect for the prices you pay. E.g Las Iguanas, Cafe Rouge or Bella Italia or prep and cook food yourself in the villa. It’s a shame but Hucks will end up being rebranded to something else in a few years due to standards going down in quality of food.

Ultimate bacon cheese burger… probably the worst burger I’ve eaten! Literally one of those frozen burgers you’d get at school but they charged £16? Madness … definitely all frozen and heated up. Even the chicken wings were rubbish. So expensive for the quality of food you get. Definitely give a miss.

Sorry CP but Hucks has really gone down hill. The quality and amount of food is poor. I paid £16.50 for a cheese and bacon burger with a £2 add on for cold sweet potato fries. So almost £20 for a burger that tasted like one from the freezer. The only side was a small pot of coleslaw. My £9.50 Long Island ice tea was not long island ice tea I think it was a margarita mix with coke on top. My daughter’s £28 steak had no garlic butter as they’d run out. CP put an automatic additional 7.5% on every thing now for service which whilst I’m happy to pay for service I do find irritating especially when the food mark up is so huge. Personally I’d steer clear and go to cafe rouge instead which was a much better quality meal

Absolutely appalling ! So gutted as we come to hucks every time we’re in center parcs and never had an issue however, this time on our second to last night ruined the holiday. Firstly, we waited around 20 minutes for drinks to arrive then a while after food, and when it did arrive majority of it was cold and we was still waiting on one meal. Everyone was half way through their meals before a waitress came over to see if everything was ok, which is when we said the chicken fajitas hadn’t turned up. About 5/10 mins after that they did. I didn’t think much of it until 2.00am that morning when I was non stop throwing up for the next 24hours. I had got food poisoning from the chicken, so wether they had forgot it was there and quickly reheated it or just quickly made it and not been cocked long enough. I spend my last 2 days being sick and didn’t leave the room. One thing I will say is the waitress was amazing, as she understood our frustrations to the cold and delayed food and gave us 20% off the bill, however didn’t make up for the pain that was caused. I then went on to call center parcs as I would never want this to happen to anyone else and they didn’t help much at all. I would avoid going to this restaurant at all costs.

This place has most definitely gone down hill. We were greeted by someone who didn’t even so much as smile at us when we walked in the door. We then sat down and after we ordered our food it came out within around 10 minutes which had me wondering how considering as my partner had ordered slow cooked pork belly. When all the food came it was honestly so so poor, the chips were chewy and the chips ontop were hot but the ones underneath were cold as if they had been sat under a hot light. Very disappointing as it was our first evening and we usually really enjoy coming here. When we had finished we weren’t asked how our food was so we told our server how unhappy we were but she didn’t seem bothered. Most definitely won’t be returning.

Great burgers, fries, desserts and service. I really enjoyed combining two starters...the loaded skins and the burnt ends of brisket - both very tasty. The starters could be slightly larger, but made a great meal. My wife had the chicken wings and veg loaded skins and really enjoyed those plus a dessert of cookie and ice cream, which she also enjoyed. Whilst there was a bit of a wait for food, as they were very busy, the waitress was cheerful and effective.

Overpriced for basic food. 3 burgers and chips, some chicken wings and 2 soft drinks £77! Small portions. Zero personality from waitress, drinks took ages to come and we were just left after our meal. Eventually we were asked if we wanted desserts which we declined and asked for the bill where we also rejected the additional service charge. Table wasn’t cleared and we were just left amongst the dirty plates. waitress then disappeared and it took me 20 minutes to be able to pay for this awful experience. Ruined the evening! Oh and hope it’s no one one’s special ever as they just shout at the tops of their voices to be heard and quite frankly it’s just rude and not pleasant.

Great restaurant with plenty of space, my tall 9 year old loved that he wasn't too big for the play area.Lots of TV screens to entertain children (no sound) this did mean it took a bit longer to eat lunch, but my children enjoyed it.Food was nice and the service was good.

The food quality was actually quite good. Given Centre Parcs’ average of ridiculously overpriced, this isn’t too bad in comparison to the others

What an absolute shambles ! We arrived at said booking time and was greeted by sullen receptionist who didn’t even make eye contact ! We were instructed wait in bar guess what no person to serve us but eventually done came and we ordered the very expensive drinks £7 for a pint of Guinness ? On reaching our table we were given menus we all ordered the food came out in drinks and drabs some meals were wrong and were sent back . The standard of what we were served was pretty poor and we left more than we ate despite , I can’t remember anyone asking if the meal was ok ? I did go to guest services and registered my total disappointment and they asked the manager to come and speak to me , she was not interested and said if we had asked her she could have done something before we left the restaurant . We paid £100s of pounds for an inedible meal . We have visited Centre Parks up to 20 times and think the standard has dropped considerably I don’t think my party of 12 will be returning , bye bye Centre Parks .

Service was very poor with several missing drinks and food orders.Food was unpleasant and very expensive, have had better quality in wetherspoons for half the price.Hair in the ribs and the garlic butter fries are just chips in half a tub of oil. With some food not coming at allWas a lot of effort getting the bill adjusted. Won't be coming here again. Don't recommend

We were really looking forward to our meal at Hucks but were left extremely displeased for a number of reasons: - had to wait in the bar area to be seated despite booking a table and it not being overly busy - we had a long table and waitress passed drinks to the first person each time, instead of delivering them along the table, which was odd. - many items out of stock on menu. - half the group got their food when the other half had to wait around ten mins, it only arrived after we asked. - burger was a very cheap processed patty with minimal toppings. Small amount of fries. - waitress asked how the meal was as she was walking past and was clearly not interested in a response as didn’t even look at us and had walked off before we had the chance to answer. - Table wasn’t cleared, didn’t ask for the bill and waitress turned up with card machine. We felt very rushed through the meal and out of restaurant. - All in all, we felt rushed and unwelcome. A very unfortunate experience given our other great meals out elsewhere at Centre Parcs.

Well what can I say. We are 3 families here together for a weekend. - we booked Hucks for the Saturday night. Total of 16! One table- the waitress Emma was brilliant, she adapted her approach to the younger and older kids accordingly, they all thought she was fab. She was brilliant with us adults- funny but professional - really added something to our evening. She was on point with all our orders, kept us entertained when serving. One of the best waitresses we have ever had the pleasure to come across. Super job Emma! Some waitresses just chuck the food at you- this lady was a true professional and made our experience one I won’t forget!! Thankyou xx
