Stayed here for a couple of nights with my girlfriend while visiting Snetterton race circuit nearby. The pub's location is very good right in the town centre, staff very friendly, accommodation (in a chalet-style building behind the pub) is fairly simple but very good with WiFi and tea and coffee making equipment provided, good drinks on offer in a good old-fashioned no nonsense pub with a pool table, dartboard and jukebox, pleasant atmosphere, lots of places for food nearby (useful as the pub doesn't serve food) and you can take takeaways into the pub and eat inside. Only downsides are parking is limited and difficult to find at the back of the pub, and the rooms could be better ventilated as it was very hot in our room during the night. Would stay here again.

Nice little pub with a pool table and darts. Rooms where ok all you need when working away. Would go back

This was a very pleasant trip. Tge pub does not do food which is no problem as you know that beforehand. The landlord and the locals were all very friendly which made for a good evening. The rooms are very clean and good value for the money. There is a car park which is a little hidden away unless you know.

This pub is very tired, it didn’t sell food, but you could bring a takeaway into the pub. There was no real ale, just top pressure larger, cider etc. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Brandon has very little going for it. A few cheap take aways, we struggled to find anywhere to have a meal.

Whilst waiting for a food order from a nearby take away venue, a friend and myself popped in for a drink. We were “greeted” by a moody older Scottish gentleman (if I can call him that). We “attempted” to order some drinks at the bar, and for whatever reason this man was unable to use any basic level of customer service. He claimed to not know what we were asking for, despite repeated attempts to place the order (we were both sober). He appeared to be having some sort of disagreement with another patron stood by the bar using profanities in front of customers. We ended up leaving without placing our order because he “claimed” he couldn’t understand what we were asking for. For absolutely no reason at all, this man ruined a otherwise decent evening out with friends.

Stayed here for a night while working nearby. Lovely clean twin room/chalet just outside the back of the pub with decent shower and has a fridge which is a rarely seen facility in rooms in the local area and was very welcome. Pub was pretty good, barmaid was friendly and helpful, checking in was a breeze and the drinks were very reasonably priced ( and happy hour is until 8pm and its £2.70 a drink) overall a great experience. I just wish there were more rooms as it is usually booked up well in advance and we are struggling to get anymore time staying here.

Accommodation is in yard at the rear of the pub with ample parking. Room was clean and comfortable with TV and kettle. The negative for me was people shouting late at night at the back of the pub. Might be remedied with a word or sign for the pub goers to be mindful regarding noise late at night perhaps.

Stayed overnight in very comfortable and clean and warm chalet, had a few very nice pints in the pub itself, which had a great country pub atmosphere, made even better by having good intelligent and amusing conversations with both Marion And Alan who run the establishment. For a Scotsman Alan's not bad , he actually paid for a round.Love this place, will definitely call in again.
