A low key experience, yet one we choose every single time we visit Elveden Center Parcs. The pancakes themselves are a delivery method for the tasty topping, just like pizza, so you will know what you're going to get - no bad thing when there's a decent variety. I did ask for swap of one of the toppings and was denied, which annoyed me, and when the pancake arrived, they had done it. I had to wait 20 moody long minutes before I perked up when it arrived. Some clearer communication could made that a better experience. The environment is reminiscent of a 1950's diner, and it's quite subdued. Soft play is well sized for the restaurant capacity.Everyone has clean plates - and that's success.

Our server was lovely and accommodated a few menu swaps for my toddler. Good menu options and quick service. Soft play for the children to keep them entertained whilst waiting for the meals.Dietary restrictions: Great gluten free and vegan options, pretty much full menus.Kid-friendliness: Good kids menu, will try to accommodate the usual the inevitable menu swaps!

The Pancake House does delicious pancakes, but do be aware that the savoury pancakes are massive American-style ones, not a thin crepe like most other pancake restaurants. The ingredients are also cooked into the pancake, resulting in a very dry egg etc. It was tasty but not what I was expecting, and a note on the menu to that effect would be useful!

Food was excellent, service was excellent, great family atmosphere right next to the lake front area. We went for breakfast and as it got busier, the service remained attentive and helpful. Waitress recommended the Waffles which I had, and they were great, we're going back before we leave.

Why there are not more of these outside of centre parcs I have no idea. It is a wonderful idea for sweet and savoury breakfast, brunch and lunches. The atmosphere is a wonderful cliter clatter, the staff are welcoming and friendly and the menu is extensive for all ranges of tastes and styles. We were there with children and they enjoyed the soft play. The service was fast and efficient which is helpful with kids. Food was on point and very tasty. Yes the prices are a little on the high side, you are at centre parcs after all. If I went with friends I could see myself getting merrily drunk with a few beers and cocktails there as well. Defo recommend.

Fun and easy-going restaurant with sweet treats and some savoury dishes. Pancakes, waffles or omelette.

Best restaurant in center parc. It’s not too expensive and the portions were good. Lots of gluten free options, staff were very friendly and helpful!

We were so looking forward to it. The place has no atmosphere. The staff were kind and friendly, though. I ordered the Mexican omelette. The waitress informed me that this is a pre mixed (the ingredients, possibly except for the egg?), and I couldn’t remove the pepperoni. I took this as a sign of what was to come that they had pre mixed batches to get the food out. When it did come out it was obvious that they didn’t even slow down to season it. The “chef” had kindly picked out the pepperoni, and then cooked it on high heat for thirty minutes with no seasoning. It was absolutely revolting. Awful. Dry, loads of jalapeño and the sausage tasted like tinned hotdogs—- did I say it was dry? Forgot the cheese as well. There was a patch in the middle. Partner had the The English breakfast- the presentation made all of us uneasy. Mushrooms mushed and cooked into a dry pancake with beans on top. He said it was horrible. Don’t waste your money. If you are out of options, and do want to go, do not get anything savoury.

Great selection, all the pancakes were fluffy and delicious. Our server Sharon was very attentive and even though as a rule they don't do takeaway they accommodated our request for the one member of our group that stayed at the lodge when they were feeling under the weather. Would highly recommend

This was a lovely place. Well laid out and friendly. Had a good family vibe and everyone’s pancake were lovely. I had pancakes syrup and bacon and loved it. As a diabetic places like this are tricky but worth the extra insulin.
