Visiting my son And his wife for a few days .They brought me there for breakfast. fantastic service And the food was delicious .
Lovely cafe. Good food and friendly service.
Best Full English Breakfast I've had in town. Great coffee and tea as well.
Doesn't make much sense to me, pretty cheap, really nice food and restaurant level dessert. Go here before they realise they can start charging more
A hidden gem in the heart of Bury St Edmunds. Good choice of lunches and light snacks. And very friendly staff. I'll be back
We read about this place and drove an hour to have afternoon tea. We arrived right at closing time and all the staff had gone for the day. We knocked on the door and the owner, Dean, was so gracious to let us in, packed two slices of cake and teas to go on the house. WOW, best coffee walnut cake we've ever had! The cake was moist and light, the sweetness of the frosting restrained by the dark bitter coffee flavor and nutty walnuts--perfectly balanced. The Victoria sponge layered with homemade jam elevated this simple, British classic. Our serendipitous stop coincided with Dean's 15th year anniversary. For anyone looking for the quintessentially English luxury teatime experience, this is it. Gourmet cakes, pastries, and teas, with some of the best customer service we have experienced anywhere. We will definitely go back on our next trip. Six stars if we could, but five does seem to be the max...
Great ?thanks ?
What a find, even though it's off the beaten track, in whiting Street, Bury St Edmunds well worth searching out. Yes at busy times you will have to wait to be seated, but it is worth it I promise you. I had the crab, prawn sun blushed tomato mayo sandwich on granary, it comes with a dressed green salad garnish and homemade Coleslaw. My wife had a chicken, Mozzarella and red onion chilli jam toastie, which also came with a dressed garnish and homemade slaw. The staff were attentive and friendly. Five stars.
Such a lovey little cafe serving a huge range of sandwiches. Fresh clean ingredients all homemade, quick friendly service and clean kitchen. You can tell the owners run a tight ship with lots of attention to detail, something that’s missing in lots of places these days in chains etc. Dodge the Costas and the Neros and come here. Eat fresh, shop local, be happy!

Lovely little cafe tucked down a quiet street in Bury St Edmunds. They have 4 A4 pages of different sandwich fillings and toasties. Absolutely delicious and very filling. Not easy to find sarnies as good as these for under a tenner these days. They have a large room at the back, a Quirky little place with character.
I visited with my daughter today for the first time and we were very impressed and will certainly come again. Service and food was excellent.
