Ittmy first time dining at a Bills Chain, but if they are all to the standard of Bills in Bury St Edmunds then all I can say is: wow!The service we received was incredible. The waiting staff were attentive and welcoming,Our food was presented beautifully and was cooked fresh to order, and piping hot.It was absolutely delicious.I would definitely recommend Bills Restaurant in Bury St Edmunds.

First time at a Bill's. Had the brunch but tomatoes uncooked thus hard as nails. 2 tiny pieces of over-done bacon. Otherwise tasted OK. Service impeccable.

After we had eaten our main course and were expecting the table to be cleared and dessert menus, nobody came to our table for about 20 minutes. We had to stop a waitress, not our waiter to ask for some service

Rustic atmosphere with pleasant service let down by the way the meal was presented We both had the seafood pasta one bowl was full of prawns and lobster the other just pasta and calamari nice taste but more care needed in the kitchenPointed out to staff but no action

Really like Bill's. Differentiates itself with an interesting menu like chicken pancakes, and has cool decor which makes a pleasant atmosphere. The food is nice but 4 stars and not 5 as I had the 'big cheese' and it was not very cheesy, i wonder if the cheese may of even been missed. 4 out of 5 for service as we were a small group, it was a quiet day and it felt awkward when the waiter 'double checked' that we didn't want to pay the 'stated' service charge.Nice coffee too. Would recomend and would visit again.

First visit here for lunch, staff all friendly. When we visited it wasn't that busy but it took quite awhile for food to arrive and although we were asked if we wanted any Condiments and said yes please, staff seemed to dissappear and we never got any. Also mentioned we would like dessert but no one came to take our order. Had to go look for someone in order to pay the bill. Plus side the food was really good, but I probably would not return.

Went here for breakfast on Bank Holiday Monday with wife & two kids.Staff sat us quickly and accomadated a highchair. Everything after this was nothing short of awful. Food arrived and was missing bits of food from two of the plates. The portion sizes were dreadful for the price and the one sausage we did receive tasted sour and awful. My daughters pancakes arrived without any maple syrup or butter and were pretty much inedible for a toddler, this was due to them having the consistency of a leather wallet. For the price of over £50 for a simple breakfast, I'd expect far far more. We will definitely not be returning and I would tell people to avoid if they want value for money. I honestly would steer clear and get a maccies breakfast instead!.

Food was fine and reasonably priced. Service was a bit slow but it was really busy. Coffee our friends ordered was not very hot. Would consider trying again.

Sadly can't give this more stars. It was practically empty when we arrived. Service was slow and order only got taken after we asked.Food was OK but to be honest nothing spectacular. Not sure I'd bother again

Lovely building, really helpful staff but food was awful. I had egg benedict, the hollandaise sauce was dreadful. It was the consistency of single cream, maybe thinner. The eggs were rubbery. To be fair to the waitress, I explained that the sauce was wrong and she offered to replace the dish, but I refused as I was eating with others. Its a pity as I've had good meals here before
