Delicious vegan meze. The best greek coffee (that is, same as turkish coffee) in town.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and also vegan stuff is excellent

Best meze in town, probably in any town.Meze II and Meze III particular favourites.Small independent place, short on space but abundance of quality.

I bought a falafel wrap as a takeaway for my lunch today.. and just wow! The flavour was delicious with homus, salad, tzatziki and the homemade falafels inside. Would definitely recommend and I will be returning for another!

Charming little cafe. Falafel wraps for lunch - very tasty and reasonably priced. A good selection of sweet and savoury dishes on the menu.

Really authentic Greek food, brilliant

My first experience of Cafe Kottani was a great one. My Mum had been before and treated me to lunch. We had Mezze 1 & 2, a frappuccino & frappe to drink. The food was delicious and very filling. The staff were polite and served with a smile. My only criticisms would be that the falafel was slightly on the dry side. That is me being super picky and does not warrant losing a star. Already looking forward to my next visit. Recently visited again and had a lamb wrap which was cooked beautifully. Toilets were satisfactory.Vegetarian options: A few items on the menu.Dietary restrictions: Options available. Ask and check.Parking: Numerous shops like; Halfords and Waitrose who do discount parking.Kid-friendliness: Kids welcome but the place is catered more for adults.Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance door should be wide enough for most wheelchairs.

As always, friendly, informative staff with excellent menu. Greeted with a smile & treated with great courtesy.

I think it is time to leave a review for one of our favourite places in town. Kottani is a delightful family-owned cafe. The food is always satisfying, the service friendly and efficient. My daughter's favourite dish is the mezze 3. I used to go for a mezze myself but the portions are so generous that I usually cannot finish it all. So I settle for either the aubergine or the okra with pita bread. We brought my mom there last week - she's visiting us for the first time - and she has now been converted to hummus.

Amazing food, and the owners are so welcoming. This is my go to place to eat whenever in Bury St Edmunds, it is unbeatable and priced very well.Food both looks and tastes amazing, and the Greek iced latte is on a different level.

Great place for a cuppa or a bite for lunch. Authentic Greek food from a friendly family run cafe. They have a great Greek deli a few doors up the street too. .

I went with my dad a few weeks ago. I had a panini and an iced latte that were both really good. It was really pretty inside as well.

We were unfamiliar with Bury and visiting for the day. Our 3 year old was caught short and needed the bathroom in desperation with very little notice. The staff wouldn't let her use the bathroom without purchasing a bottle of water.I could possibly understand this for adults but this is ridiculously mean spirited for a child. In a time when society is focusing on business ethics I'd implore you to place your business in a place that maintains a baseline of human dignity.

Not very nice staff. The staff wouldn't let our 3 year old use the toilet without buying a bottle of water. Below the level of basic human decency.

We both had a Mediterranean chicken & roast veg wrap: delicious. Nice sweet treats, too. We will go back when we are in Bury next.

Really nice food - and not overpriced. Very nice to see independent sellers of quality product. Bury has a LOT of cafes with the national chain usual culprits present in numbers but Kottani offers an antidote to their bland and uninspiring fare. Eat here, live well.
