My wife found this restaurant online and booked, I had no idea what to expect. Arriving at Rougham into a vey picturesque setting, the staff were friendly and welcoming. The kitchen and dining area is all open and it was great to see the Chefs relaxed and enjoying their professional trade. The tasting menu and wine pairing was amazing, a perfect dining and relaxed night out, highly recommend.

If you are looking for a real treat then Forage is the place. Wonderful food presented by the chefs who bring it your table. Unpretentious , but very sophisticated. Faultless cooking across 10 courses

I purchased the lunch 6 course tasting menu as a birthday present for my husband and what a great gift it was. This was our first visit to The Forage Kitchen and it was excellent. Every course that we were served had a blast of amazing flavours. The staff were friendly and extremely knowledgeable. The restaurant itself had a cosy friendly feel and it was spotless. We were wowed by the whole experience. We will definitely be returning but this time for an evening sitting. This is a great venue and the staff have definitely got it right. Congratulations and very well done. ???

Lovely small restaurant. Very intimate as you can see the chefs plating up the food. Food is very good and innovative. Been twice and very impressed each time.

Oh! My Gosh, what an amazing place. Incredible tasting menu, tons of small tasting courses and every one delicious. It held 20 people and had an intimate feel about it. Service was superb.

It is different, it is quirky, no menu (a blessing) it is what they are preparing today, BUT quite sensational, beautifully thought out, foraged and presented, a remarkable place to dine, (although, personally I would prefer table and chairs, rather than high stools) I'm afraid Forage knocks most restaurants into the long grass, and even if you could find this quality of cooking anywhere, it would cost a fortune! Having said that please don't put your prices up. Very well looked after "front of house" and they do delicious cocktails!!

I cannot believe the creativity of these chefs. Their food is unusual, delicious beyond belief, and always thrilling. The FoH is perfect, too.

It is hard to know where to start with this review as I am quickly going to run out of superlatives. This was my first experience of an 'unseen' tasting menu and there are a few things that I tend to avoid on menus such as raw/tartare type dishes - both appeared here so my boundaries were stretched - but in such a good way. I am in awe of the inventiveness on display in designing the menu even before we get to the brilliance and the care and attention to detail that go into preparing each delightful dish. Every course was small but perfectly formed with such exquisite flavours and combinations of flavours and textures that the whole experience was exquisite. From the canapes of a short rib croustade and kimchi bao bun through scallop shashimi in a delightful broth to (my favourite course!) Megrim Sole with an extraordinary horseradish leaf and vinegar gel and then the Red Pol beef sirloin (cooked to perfection) with a tartare on the side on a smoked egg yolk jam! Blue cheese is also normally something I avoid but the blue cheese ice cream was beautiful on top of a black garlic treacle tart - and that was the cheese course with a pre-dessert and dessert still to come! Every dish was brought to the table by one of the two chefs and explained and wine, water etc were taken care of by the most delightful and professional sommelier. I thoroughly recommend this extraordinary experience to anyone with a love of food and I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

Our 1st visit to Forage, & I'm sure it won't be our last. We had the 10 course best of Forage taster menu. An intimate restaurant with a small amount of tables, attentive waiter & knowledgeable + such clever chefs. Chefs plated up food in front of us in the open kitchen, then brought to table to explain how it was grown/reared/flavours of dish. One dish was not what we expected (blue cheese ice cream & treacle tart with black garlic) but it went so well together :) A lovely treat & we felt very spoilt when we came away. *May be worth adding cushions to the chairs, the bar stools are extremely uncomfortable to sit on for 3 hours. *Please can you sign post the lane/entrance to Forage- its extremely difficult to find especially in the dark. *Please also sign post the toilet- it's a long walk across a courtyard when you don't know where you are going. See you soon & thank you again

By far the best restaurant in Suffolk . A taste sensation. The blue cheese ice cream was incredible. The experience of going to the forager is one not to be missed .

The forage kitchen experience is amazing. Been on quite a few lunches for different occasions and is truly one of the gems in Bury. It's truly a must do in Bury!!

Lovely place, friendly staff, lovely food. It's a new restaurant coping with very busy footfall and is doing really well. Adjoined to the amazing Christmas shop with local crafts barn open at weekends, well worth a visit. Really looking forward to the summer here too when apparently the crafts barn will be a type of garden centre shop.

This was a treat for our neighbours and what a treat it was . From beginning to end the service/food and wine was absolutely fantastic. We did the 6 course lunch and every course was a delight for the eyes and stomach , some dishes were almost too pretty to eat . Thank you so much
