Every single time I’ve been here, the meals have been delicious and beautifully presented. Service is friendly and the ambience is calm and cozy. Totally recommend!

Stopped in for a family lunch. Very friendly attentive staff and the food was delicious and well presented. Calamari was perfectly cooked, and it would have been good to have more than three rings in the portion as we were sharing the starters. The grilled meats were juicy and tender and full of flavour. We really liked the Guvec on the lunch menu. The meals are good but not worth the price tag. The two course menu is better value for money but has restricted options. Can't fault the service though, we felt well looked after!

Honestly wow! We’ve lived in Bury St Edmunds for over 3 years now and this was our first time to Francela - I’m so sad we did not come sooner. Service is welcoming and attentive, every single dish we had was very flavorful and perfect, and the whole atmosphere was relaxed and cozy. We got several different appetizers, the mixed grill, and dessert along with wine. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it!

What a great meal!!! Booking online was easy and convenient. We were greeted at the door and everything was great from beginning to end. We had starters-filo pastry rolls, tzatziki, shakshuka, and calamari. All delicious. For dinner we had a Mixed Grill, Pollo Al Pesto, and Pollo Al Pepe. It was all well cooked and presented beautifully. It tasted just as good. Desert put us all over the top. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

2nd visit to Francela and it did not disappoint. Food was awesome - they really know how to cook lamb! Good quality/taste and perfect portion sizes. Staff are very friendly. Atmosphere is very authentic. Looking forward to our next visit!

If you’re into tasty, flavorful food this is your place. I had hummus for the first time there and it definitely convinced me to try it again. I also had their Lamb Guvec and ugh, sensational. My friend had their Pollo Alla Griglia and if I tell you every fiber of the chicken was SEASONED. Customer service was a 10/10, the workers were very polite and had that old school chivalry. We had an amazing time there and I’ll definitely be going back and referring friends ?.

First time visit for me but my partner had been multiple times. Not a disappointment. Food was tasty, lots of flavour and plenty of choice. Highly recommend the hot mazze platter. Good size portions and value for money. Staff were very friendly and the manager really went above and beyond to make us both feel welcome. Definitely will be going back.
Had the most amazing meal as usual. Service was fantastic, all staff are very attentive and kind. Free bottle of wine for the birthday boy as a present which was a lovely surprise.
