Visisted today Wednesday 28 February, food amazing (just £5 for a burger, cooked beautifully, Uber fresh!!! Staff work really hard and clearly enjoy looking after customers. Will definitely be back! Thank you for great food and a superb Suffolk welcome. Warm regards

The food took a long time to come out, my friend and I were told that there would be a wait, and as it was busy and we were watching the rugby we didn't mind the wait.It was 45 minutes and we didn't see any other food coming out of the kitchen whatsoever. What we ordered was the mango chili chicken and there was a distinct lack of mango and chill in the chicken plus a very small amount of sauce in the pitta bread which made for a very dry meal and the corn on the cob looked like it had been cooked before I walked in the building. My friend's chicken nuggets were extremely overcooked and could have been used as weapons they were that hard. The service at the bar was great though. I do like the Grapes but the food was a bit of a letdown on this occasion, the staff did say it was a new chef on but 45 minutes was in my eyes too long when we couldn't see anyone else eating.

A really friendly pub, full of local character (and characters). I've been many times, including on karaoke night (which is loud and energetic), a quiet weekday evening and a busy Saturday lunchtime - a different experience every time but always warm and cheerful. The food is excellent, the staff are wonderful, and it's our go-to place for food when we come into town.Note: the kitchen closes at 6pm, so it's best for lunch or an early dinner.

We booked a table as last time we just popped in it was full, not so full today but it did mean we had a lovely table. We had fabulous service, we couldn't ask for anything more. The steaks were perfect and the chef even stayed slightly later to make us dessert. Really recommend. We will be back.

Gave me a regular coke instead of diet. As a type 1 diabetic, this genuinely ruined my night.
