Well. Best indian dining out I've had for a while.Staff are very welcoming and attentive and polite.Nice place to sit in, great background hum of others having a great time. The food, top notch level of flavours, really expertly done, could taste every spice and herb, the spicy heat took nothing away. You can eat the chicken and lamp with no worries because it is trimmed perfectly, no fatty bits. The mushroom side was addictive and nicely fresh naan bread.Great price as well, very good sized portions. Will happily return to try more off the menu.Thank you all involved, you are masters at the pans!

Visited Orrisa a number of times but hadn’t been here for a while.Decided to book for a close group of friends. The food and service were excellent, had the Chicken Tawa Dum Biriyani which was up there with the best meal I have had in any Indian restaurant. Will definitely be coming back again

Found this little gem by accident and so glad we did. Food was great, the flavours all worked really well together and the presentation was excellent. The food portions were quite large to. The restaurant its self was clean presentable and welcoming and the waiting staff were professional polite and very helpful and gave great suggestions when asked for recommendations based on my preferences

Where do I start , party of 7 and everyones food tasted like chillys were just thrown in as a dare in the kitchen by the chef to see us all go red.Head waiter needs to smile it may have helped ease our pain.To make things worse every dish had coconut cream...May as well be a Thai restaurant.Wont be going back again ????

Thoroughly enjoyed my GF & DF meal last week. It was full but still good attention from the waiters. Nice to see so many GF options on a menu. Will be backDietary restrictions: Gluten free & Dairy free.

Twelve of us went here last Saturday. It was an excellent decision. Service prompt and efficient with a full restaurant. I am particularly impressed by the fact that you can get a decent bottle of white wine for around £20 and that they don't add a service charge.Vegetarian options: Always good for vegetarian foodKid-friendliness: My young grandaughter enjoyed herself but I don't know if there was a special children's menu.

This was our first visit to Orissa in Bury St Edmunds. Received a warm welcome by the very attentive staff. Lots of choice from the extensive menu. I would highly recommend the freshly prepared Mumbai Murg Masala, packed with flavour but not too spicy. Many thanks to Adnan and all the staff for a great evening. Looking forward to our next visit.

Ordered Saturday night takeaway for two . It was our first time ordering from this restaurant. We had Special biryani, Chicken tikka Korma , pilau rice , bombay aloo , onion bhajis & plain poppadoms. All items were very nice & tasty . Would definitely recommend a visit to this restaurant to either sit in or takeaway.

Another top notch meal from Orissa last night - the best Indian in Bury by far. Recommendations from me would be the Chicken Ghassi - lovely flavours - or also the Vegetarian Thali, all elements top notch. Kohlapuri also a winner. Thanks Orissa.

Extensive menu & lovely food. Staff were attentive, although when we’d finished eating & our glasses/wine bottle was empty, rather than ask if we’d like more drinks, they took everything away. Other than that, no issues at all.

Table pre-booked for 4 at 7:30 pm. We turn up at 7:30 pm only to be told that there is at least a 20 minute wait. Nowhere to wait in the restaurant and it's cold outside! No apology. NOT good enough. However, virtually next door is The Spice Garden. We had a nice table for 4, unbooked, on a busy evening with a great meal and friendly and polite staff. I know which one we will be returning to.

Was very disappointed as I saw an offer as part of my Gym membership for 30% of at Orrissa. It states excludes Saturday. So we went Friday evening, when we went to pay I was told the offer does not include Fridays as well, but as can be seen on photo only excludes Saturday. Also Onion Bhajis were not great, very stodgy.
