I had my appetizers and ordered my main, and there was 4 people behind the desk jackassing around. I was asked to pay the bill...and I stated where is my food? Then I'll pay. Then I had to ask again where my food is from 25 minutes layer and WHOA IT WAS UNDER THE COUNTER THE WHOLE TIME

My husband called to book for this evening and asked for a table at 6:30pm he was told they only had a table for 6:15pm so he accepted.Upon arrival we were taken to our table which wasn’t ready for us so we waited whilst it was cleaned and was seated, was given menus, chopsticks and told to press “that button” if we required service. After looking at the menu for 5 minutes we had decided what we wanted and pressed the button, we waited around 15minutes and decided to press again. Another amount of time went passed, all the staff heard as did we and saw on their screen the button had be pressed but proceeded to ignore the buzzer! Whilst I was looking at the bar area we saw 4 or 5 staff were standing around chatting, laughing and one eating chips! She noticed me (finally) 6:38pm smiled, walked off and then came over and asked what we would like and we ordered… the food came out and most of the dishes we ordered was really very nice. We decided to order some more and pressed the button! We waited.. and waited… and waited… and nothing, no one came! In the meantime customers are being shown to their tables and the tables were still dirty! We decided that enough was enough and decided to go to the front desk, pay and leave and find somewhere else to eat. On the way to pay 3 staff members were just standing there! At the desk the manager we believe he was asked how our meal was and we explained what had happened! And that we had only had some starters but because of the lack of service and us noticing the staff just deliberately ignoring the service button we decided to leave.. he said he had be trying all evening to get them to work but he was finding it hard he gave us a discount and we left..Eating on shift in front of customers is extremely unprofessional and not only that quite un sanitary as she was shoving them in her mouth and then touching customers glasses and food! No hand washing in between, please… your food is very nice but hiring what seems to be a bunch of uncaring kids doesn’t help your business. Some discipline and respect is in order from your young staff it’s not a playground it’s a business!

Went to Sakura restaurant with my boyfriend for my birthday, it’s lovely place with super delicious food and very good selection of Japanese drinks. Everything was presented so nicely and it was heavenly delicious. The prices for what you get was good and the place looked stunning and we managed to get seat next to the window so we could enjoy the view. Service was really good, friendly staff and quick service.

Dinner was amazing. We lived in japan and I can say this was on point. The only thing I would say is add more spicy for the spicy tuna roll, but otherwise the specialty rolls are absolutely delicious!! The plumb wine was the best I’ve had thus far! And the desserts (I’ve been looking for red bean for a while and I was so happy they had it) were incredible!!

Great Japanese food with a really good selection of dishes. Oudon noodles to die for. Staff generally excellent but should not clear tables until all have finished eating. Great looking g plates etc a d cutlery if chopsticks are a challenge. Was cold inside and ridiculous plastic heavy duty door jam to fight through on entrance and exit but well worth a visit
Food was great as usual, Place was cold, Stupid plastic strips at front door, not good when you walk with stick, Plates being cleared while people are still eating,a big No No
