The food was nice but it was a shame that the pork came out slightly raw which is a slight concern. One member of staff is not very friendly and handing over an extremely hot coffee over the head of our 3-year-old.

Always fantastic food here, freshly prepared and cooked to order. The fish and chips is always excellent and portions are huge!

The roast turkey dinner was nice, and the family-style veggies were plentiful and tasty. However, we were pretty disappointed with my father-in-law's butcher's pie. It seemed store bought and not fresh made in-house. The starter hummus was pretty bland. Also, they should rethink the Christmas tree decorations on the tables. We went home absolutely covered in glitter.

This is our second year at the Walnut Tree and we loved it even more, if that's possible. EMMA, HENRY and a very polite young lady (sorry forgot to ask your name) were so kind, welcoming and friendly. There were 7 adults, 5 teenagers and 2 children eating, so it was a bit hectic for the poor staff but they handled the chaos with great patience. Thank you once again to the kitchen staff too; you didn't disappoint. We'll be back in 2024 for our family walk and pub meal. Oh not forgetting that we had 5 well behaved dogs with us too! 2 Big 3 small. ??Parking: Plenty of room, and spaces for disabled.

Lovely food and great service! Will be back… what’s happened??????:) we popped there today. Lady behind bar was loud and rude- we didn’t feel welcome at all. We were there at 130 and they seemed annoyed we wanted food. We won’t be back. Worlington hall was amazing. Was absolutely

Walnut Tree, what has happened to you? Ordered the ‘festive’ pie with mash. Pie was shop bought and small. Served with mashed potatoes (lumpy) and half bag green peas, runny gravy for £15. I can get better at Crumbs in Mildenhall for half the price. It was even served on the plate like a cafe! Have you seen the standards of other pub grub? You need to step up because going by how many people were in there eating for a pre-weekend evening, you seriously have a problem. Lower your prices if you can’t get a chef and fill the car park up again!

Sunday Roast was wonderful. Fresh vegetables, giant Yorkshire pudding, and my chicken was nicely tender. My wife said her pork was very good as well. Guinness on tap ??. Nice wine selection. Reservations are a good idea. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We will absolutely be going there again.Vegetarian options: There were vegetarian options. I didn't look too closely at them but recognized they were available.Parking: Well marked car park with generous spacing.Kid-friendliness: There are plenty of highchairs for small children.Wheelchair accessibility: There was only a small step up into the main entrance (50 cm?). There are other entrances available.

I've only been there twice so far, but it's one of my favorite local spots at this point. I've never had any food that was less than stellar here, the atmosphere is delightful, and there's plenty of seating. Definitely will continue to go back!
