Lovely traditional pub central in village square. Serving drinks and morning cafe / bar / breakfast.

1.5 hr wait for food, no apology from the staff who clearly knew it was unacceptable as they didn’t bother adding any gratuity, served the wrong drinks twice and just generally awful

Called in for coffee and a sandwich The hotel is an older building but the lounge was inviting with an open fire The furniture and surroundings were very tired with holes in the sofas The food was good and the staff friendly and helpful Overall a destination that has had better days but due to the lack of alternatives in the town seems to remain popular

Great hot chocolate, coffee and tea. The cakes, gingerbread men and cookies complemented the drinks well. Amazing atmosphere, great location on a bitterly cold day before we storm the castle on the hill.

Amazing food & very cosy country atmosphere, come here for breakfast often with my partner, the full English & Eggs Benedict is fantastic, unfortunately it is limited seating but they've always accommodated us even on really busy days considering we're only visiting for food, highly recommend if you're in Framlingham or the local area

Really lovely evening at the Crown. Good food and incredible service from Gabrielle, Emma and their staff. The place was very busy but the staff coped extremely well under pressure. Everything was done efficiently, with courtesy and a smile.

Ok the good stuff: lovely venue, good drinks ever so helpful and friendly staff and a good menu. BUT poorly presented food, l had a venison burger which was excellent but the bap and accompanying salad and chips were …….very basic and desultory

Ye olde building was delightful and the staff were friendly. Food was OK, a good standard of pub essentials but not stand

Very nice large room but not the most powerful shower and not much in the way of complementary toiletries. Soft towels. A lovely bar and sitting area and fab barman only spoilt by the fact it shut at 5 on the Sunday. The cooked breakfast was lovely but very slow and no cereals or toast etc out for you to have while you were waiting

Stopped in the garden for a drink and stayed for dinner. Great service, nice friendly atmosphere and the food was so good. It was a sunny evening and we stayed 3 hours without wanting or needing to move. Clean and smart and certainly recommend.

Had gammon egg and chips x 2. Gammon tough, fatty and inedible. No one asked how food was until collecting plates. Told waiter about meat and he said he would talk to kitchen and never saw him again. Please spend your money where they care about standards and customer service.
