Brilliant time had while on Jon’s stag doo. Glad we found it and went. Just so others know you don’t need to be a member to go and have fun ??

We called into Chinney's for lunch whilst travelling through Halesworth, we found happy welcoming staff with the added bonus of being able to sit at the outside tables with our dog. The lady behind the bar immediately brought a bowl of water for our pooch. Really enjoyed the all day breakfast and felt the menu was very reasonably priced. Will definitely go again.

Chinny's Sports Bar in the charming town of Halesworth is an unassuming gem that beckons you with the promise of good company, hearty libations, and a culinary delight that can only be described as divine: the infamous onion bap.As you step into the dimly lit haven of camaraderie, you're immediately greeted by the raucous symphony of sports fans passionately cheering for their teams, their voices harmonizing with the clinking of glasses and the occasional burst of laughter. It's a scene that transports you, and you can't help but surrender to the embrace of the lively ambiance. But let's not be coy here; it's the onion bap that steals the spotlight and etches itself into your memory. A seemingly simple creation, this masterpiece is an artful marriage of flavors and textures that only a seasoned kitchen virtuoso could orchestrate. A toasted bap, golden and inviting, cradles a mound of caramelized onions, their sweet and savory dance a testament to the patient skill of the kitchen staff. One bite, and you're ensnared in a web of culinary enchantment. The bap yields with a satisfying crunch, giving way to the luscious embrace of the onions that melt in your mouth like a whisper of indulgence. It's a dance of contrasts – the delicate fluffiness of the bap against the intense richness of the onions – a tango of taste that electrifies your senses and leaves you yearning for more. And let's not forget the accoutrements, for Chinny's pays attention to even the finest details. A drizzle of tangy aioli adds a zesty counterpoint, a splash of brightness that elevates the ensemble to celestial heights. A bed of crisp lettuce provides a refreshing crunch, a verdant reminder of the world beyond the bap's embrace. As you savor each bite, you can't help but imagine the culinary prowess that brings this symphony of flavors to life. Behind the scenes, a dedicated crew orchestrates this culinary ballet, infusing every onion strand with the essence of dedication and passion.Chinny's Sports Bar isn't just a place to catch a game; it's a culinary pilgrimage, a journey of taste and camaraderie that imprints itself on your soul. The onion bap, a humble yet transcendent creation, stands as a testament to the magic that happens when food is crafted with love, skill, and a dash of pure, unadulterated audacity. So, my friends, if you find yourself in Halesworth, don't just go to Chinny's; embark on an onion bap odyssey that will forever redefine your notion of sporting bar cuisine.
