Popped in for Sunday lunch, and everyone was so polite and friendly. Lamb shank and roast beef were amazing. Apple crumble and custard was the 'icing on the cake'! Would definitely return if we're ever back in the area.

We had a pre birthday family roast lunch at the Racehorse today, the food was cooked exactly to all individual choices, everyone friendly and the atmosphere very homely, our guests were very happy!Vegetarian options: Our veggie guest was very happy with her choice

What a gem to have on the doorstep of Sunnyside Campsite. Brilliantly kept beer and cider with really tasty home cooked food, run by volunteers. Cheers.

A charming community run pub, run by friendly staff, with an excellent and challenging quiz every third Thursday of the month!Parking: Plenty of spaces at the pub itself, and at the village hall directly next door if it's busy. Dedicated marked disabled spaces available.
I visited here with my daughter and her family, and it was a treat of a place. The Sunday roast was delicious and the Yorkshires to die for. The staff were attentive and friendly. The puddings were glorious. Will definitely return.

We visited The Racehorse whilst holidaying in the area. We love the fact that it’s a community owned pub. We received a warm welcome with our dog and very much enjoyed our meal. Good value for money too!
