Good community centered pub offering curry nights, open mike, bands and occasionally art and folk music meet ups. Only pub in the town with a decent size beer garden. Great staff and eclectic clientele. Good pub dogs too!

A good local pub that does what it ought. Provides a place for relaxed socialising. Interesting food and entertainment events Pool table and good beer served by gracious hosts. Nice beer garden at the rear big enough for both adults and children to have space without intruding on each other. outside comfortable smoking area.Kid-friendliness: Beer garden has gated area with toys and other items to keep kids amused within sight of supervising adults/parents.
