“First time going and will definitely be going back. Can 100% back the great reviews. The younger guy serving was absolutely brilliant and everything was spot on, food, drinks, service. Literally couldn't fault it. Beef, mushroom and truffle oil pie of the day was amazing and such generous portions and more importantly, generous amounts of gravy!!Toilets were also so clean which wouldn't usually be a factor for me but they were so clean I had to mention! Will definitely be coming back!”

“Great little country pub, with a very good selection of real ales. Very friendly staff and a lovely Landlady. There is a dinner restaurant next door, which should be fully open soon (ish). Ample parking and a fair sized beer garden. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.”

“We called in on the off chance of getting a table on Sunday lunchtime. They had a table spare. My wife had roast pork & I had roast beef. Both meals were delicious. The plate itself was hot, so that meant the dinner stayed hot right through the meal. Good size portions & plenty of different varieties of vegetables. The service was excellent.”
