Starting with drinks... Order a Coke and get... A can of coke and glass, no ice or lemon etc?! For £4? At least pretend it's not just a can by pouring it and then bringing the drinks over. I can buy 24 cans in tesco for £8. At least open and pour, or offer draft with ice etc.
The burger range is now desperately poor. Very limited choice. Average price of about £13-£15. So that comes with a choice of fries, side salad etc? Erm... No! It's a burger, in the middle of a bare plate.
Fries? Go on then.. For £4 basic, or more for sweet potato etc. That makes almost £20 for a burger and fries. In a canteen style burger place in town, with a £4 can of coke...
Honestly, it's a joke.
We then get the bill and 10% service charge is pre-added. ? The bill for 4 of us is now almost £100.
We could have gone somewhere like Kesgrave Hall and had burger, and a drink each, for less.
We won't be coming back, and I expect at this rate, Byron will be the next to close down.

They've used to have some awesome burgers but since the menu has changed they're totally disappointing and too expensive for the quality and amount you get. They're cheese fries are having a different cheese which is horrible and their byron sauce taste sour. You can't add fresh onions or classic mayo in your burger when ordering in food apps either. I used to be a regular customer but now I'm just ordering from time to time hoping they're back to their "good days"

ordered a sharer loaded fries, barely enough for 1 let alone sharing. was the same size as my friends portion of fries. chicken burger was grey, solid and inedible. £66 for three adults and a child. Will never go again !!

Celebrated our youngest's 13th birthday here last Wednesday and very happy with the burgers ???? ? and of course the bottomless fries ? nachos and chicken wings are absolutely delish! Great atmosphere, clean and efficient service! Will come back again ?
