Wow! I visited Chiquito on Saturday with my family, having been to a few Chiquito restaurants before I thought I knew what to expect, a decent experience with decent food. How wrong I was! Chiquito at Ipswich is on another level and in my families' experience although food was very good itself the service from Janice was a pure masterclass in how to deliver a unique personal service with the perfect balance of being attentive and accommodating whilst not being intrusive. We enjoyed all our food and I particularly enjoyed my chicken burrito! We shall certainly be back!

I went to Chiquito with my family and had a wonderful experience. Our server Janice was so attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The Food was excellent, would definitely go back again even more if Janice is there as she a real asset to Chiquito

Nice food but extremely slow service. Unfortunately because they have their on sections. Other staff don't came over to clear and take orders. So u r left with dirty plates on the table till someone comes over. Sadly it wasn't busy tonight but still slow.

Good place to go and have a delicious meal with some friendly and welcoming service.We had Sam serve us from start to finish and he answered any questions we had on the menu and had some brilliant recommendations.

I came here with my friend for lunch and we had an amazing time. our server ‘Sam’ was an absolute gem, really friendly, attentive and engaging. Fantastic waiter! We had a coupon for the garlic corn bread and added cheese- amazing I had the panko prawn tacos from the summer menu as well as the brownie dessert tacos - these were unbelievable

Whilst the waitress we had was lovely the supervisor sue was far from. Unhelpful, sarcastic and outright rude. Had it not of been for her it would of been a lovely evening food was good waitress was super. Just goes to show those at the top think they are above the rest. We were originally met with attitude when sue brought over drink of which we had requested no ice. Wasn't a big deal yet she seemed to think it was. We simply said sorry to be a pain but we asked for no ice, sulky like a child is the best way i could describe it. she then preceeded to lecture the waiter who took the order in eye sight of us...very simple mistake to make and easy to resolve just poor into another glass no biggy. Then Made a point of coming over unprovoked or unencouraged just discuss why our booking wasn't on the system ( that she booked personally the day before) I presume because the waiter who missed off the no ice reminded her of her error. We are all human. Implied it was our fault and we gave her the wrong time or she miss heard us yesterday ...again the attitude and tone was unnecessary and the conversation didn't need to take place. Then when asked regarding NHS discount at the end we were again met with attitude over how a deal was on n we couldn't use it. ( not a problem just her attitude is) Management of this branch should re consider who they appoint as supervisor.
We had a very good overall dining experience. Everyone enjoyed their food and Sam provided us with an exceptional service :)

Exceptionally poor food quality, the food was very mediocre and nothing like a mexican restaurant that serves freshly cooked dishes. The meal was cold. This was mentioned to the staff who promptly removed the meal and provided another one, this time it was hot hot but no taste and looked like dogs dinner. Presentation was awful and the waitress said it probably had sat on the pass to long hence why it was cold. we noticed all the food was left on the pass for some time before being served. When we asked why it was like this they stated that their kitchen was backed up, yet the restaurant was near empty. The following day I had diarrhoea and my wife felt sick. I would leave zero stars if I could. Please dont waste your money.

Absolutely terrible experience. We booked a table for 17.30 and were seated straight away. We had two kids with us so wanted to order as soon as possible but it took at least 10 minutes for the waitress to take our order. 45 minutes after ordering other tables who came after us got their meals. we asked the waitress to check how long is it going to be, she went to kitchen but instead of coming back to us with explanation she started to do different jobs. We stood up and left, nobody cared.The place was quiet and there was manager and five waitresses, I have no idea how mistake like this can be made. Maybe if the manager looked around what is going on she would have notice.

Came with two kids and wanted to order as soon as possible but still waited about 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge us. 45 minutes after ordering our meal still didnt arrive, two tables came after us and got their meals. We asked the waitress where is our meal, she went to kitchen and you could tell something wrong, however instead of coming back to us with explanation she started to clean empty tables. We stood us to leave, manager looked at us but could not care less. If they dont know how to manage the place let me show them one weekend, free of charge.
