I went for yesterday, 3rd January 2024, as it was my birthday.I have been many times in the past and could never fault it. But, I have to say, when I went yesterday, it was the worse experience I have ever known!!!Staff were not friendly or inviting and barely wanted to serve me!The wait for the meal was long, even though the pub was not busy.Then when the food came, it didn’t have everything, as described on the menu, nor was the food, value for money! It was luke warm, no flavour and over priced for what we got!

As for the part the years we've been coming here for Christmas Dinner... and as always never fail to impress. We were welcomed 30 minutes early... seated straight away. The food was amazing and the service absolutely fantastic. We wore our silly Christmas hats as always and we were remembered.. thank you

We went for breakfast with santa last year it was fantastic so I rebooked. This year was a complete disgrace.We ordered off the menu like we were told. Go up to pay. Oh we have no pancakes. We have no strawberries. No chocolate sauce. All from the childrens menu.Fanta from the pump was flat. Sausages sandwichescame out cold sausages. Sent them back came back just the same. They would never melt the cheese on those sandwichesWe order a wrap thing with no bacon. You guessed it was stuffed with bacon.All fried eggs on 4 different meals were rock hard.9 of us went. Never again.The prezzie from santa wasnt age related . They all got a colouring book what was way to old for a 3 year old. Copy drawning and dot to dot . Book was for alot older child .selection box would of Ben alot better.My view to any one don't bother going.The guy didn't even say sorry just matter of fact. We haven't got pancakes etc. He had the sincerity of someone who really couldn't be bothered

Dec 2023Visited with a couple of old school friends, one of whom I hadn't seen for almost 40 years. The catch up was great. The food was great value and my mixed grill was really tasty with a good quality steak. 2 of the 3 of us were driving so Heineken 0.0 was just right. Plenty of catching up was done with another catch up due in the new year.

Really great pub, great for families or to pop in for a drink, had a lovely meal and great price, waitress neve is always incredibly friendly and helpful, would highly recommend a family meal here

Had a few beers here on a couple of occasions. Good real ale, Green King. Live football on large screens. Very busy.

Horrendous food. I barely ate mine as burger was cold and like rubber. Also onion rings reheated. Didn't get asked if food was OK, just took it away and could see I barely ate any of it. The hygiene in that place is beyond me, made me feel quite sick.

Came for lunch tues 12th, booked a table. On arrival greeted and seated by friendly waitress, restaurant was very busy with only a couple of staff doing everything , food was good when it finally arrived , but the 40 minute agonising wait for some basic food was not funny, and we were not the only ones , it seemed everyone had a long wait. I would suggest the lunchtime cook wants sacking. Ruined whats usually a nice meal out.
