Stayed 2 nights, eating in. As with our previous stays, everything re service, menus, value, cleanliness, comfort etc was top drawer. A truly friendly & helpful staff was the most appreciated aspect, more & more of a rarity these days it seems.

Bar staff dismissive, not friendly.Food portion pathetic, the soup barely 4 spoons of it - it was tasty though.The wings were cold with small serving of sauce.The chips arrived cold.I have previously enjoyed the food here and was very disappointed.

Weekday afternoon, quiet and affordable tasty food! They do blue light card 20% discount on weekdays. Their wings with hot maple sauce and chips taste perfect! Its also pram friendly on a weekday. I’d rather go here to meet a friend than cafes in town (as they are very small and close early).

When I arrived to order food there were a few people waiting, but extra staff quickly arrived to take orders. My food arrived quickly and was freshly cooked and hot. A lovely juicy gammon steak and seriously crispy chips. I ordered dessert and a second drink via the QR code app. It was very easy to find my way around (I am not brilliant at technology). A receipt was emailed to me and my order was brought to my table very quickly. I had a lovely meal, thank you. The cost was very reasonable too.

Amanda was excellent, can't fault the service in the slightest! Definitely recommend the mermaid for a little drink or a bit of grub! Also Jamie in the kitchen is a diamond! Cheers guys??

Once again the walk into the bar was welcomed with a smile from the delightful Mandy who then poured me out a lovely Peroni and took my order of a cowboy burger (as the bar was rammed after the match) and in not time the burger and Mandy arrived with another pint of PeroniParking: Plenty of parking but no EV charging stations just yet.

Marvelous place, Clean and well maintained. The staff are just awesome and so helpful. The meals were beautiful, very tasty, well cooked and presented very well. Only 1 complaint, there are a few wobbly tables and chairs about the place.

We were shown to our table quickly. It was explained clearly how to order, either the app or the bar. We used the app. Very easy to use. Scanned QR code. Took me straight to the site. Drinks arrived quickly as did the starters. Plates were cleared efficiently and main course and pudding delivered quickly. The food was delicious and piping hot. The staff were polite and friendly. Will definitely be back soon.

The food was AMAZING and DELICIOUS!! Our waitress Nicky was a delight! talkative and friendly! We went for my sisters birthday and they set balloons on our table along with a lovely card and wrote 'happy birthday' with chocolate sauce on the plate of her dessert! ??Vegetarian options: The were several options, my mum had the curry and it was really nice!!
