Had an issue with my shell pay at pump app. Would not proceed to PayPal to complete payment. After wondering around forecourt trying to see if signal was an issue and restarting my phone u could not get it to work. My wife sent photos of my credit card but the unhelpful chap insisted that he could only take " card " payment. My wife even offered to pay over phone. Absolutely couldn't care less that I was 30 miles from home and without fuel. Tossers

Went there tonight as needed fuel for work and I have fuel card this was the second place I tried and they except very friendly/helpful staff nice and clean to no litter very clean shop and forecourt will be back

Very dissapointed! Will never visit again! Arrived with clean lovely smelling car and after fuelling up have left with teribly stinking of diesel car. As it was very bad spillage of diesel all over fuel pump, have stepped in to it, my feet was slipping of brake pedal, couldn't drive safely back home. My car stinks of diesel for two days in the row now, smell is bad and doesn't looks like it settles down. My shoes stinks as well even after washing them! My car needs a chemical valeting after visiting Shell Ranelagh fuel station!

Great Shell Garage, Standard prices for fuel and great to get a bite to eat and a Coffee. Open 24 hours so if you need to get something late at night but the other shops are closed this is a great place to head to. I normally go there at night if I have forgotten something during the day. Very nice staff, they will go out of their way to help you find what you are looking for and in the evenings they are happy to go get the item for you without a complain. Love this shell garage a lot.

The station technically is very good and an old reference at the London Road in Ipswich. But... Take care folk, the management is not very serious, as we would like. Three years ago I paid my diesel with my debit card and they charged me twice. Now is different: the amount of fuel supplied is shorter than the pump shows. Keep an eye in the situation with the help of the your fuel gage.

Pump was running on low pressure, took ages to fill tank with diesel, as it's running on low pressure the cut off doesn't operate resulting in tank overflowing onto the forecourt, and over my clothes and shoes. Explained the problem to the cashier his response was phone the number on the till receipt in the morning. Didn't give a toss that other users could suffer the same fate
