Went there yesterday to watch the Tyler Kemp Music band - very enjoyable afternoon and great fun - nice family friendly pub that welcomes dogs - staff very friendly and food yummy- hasnt got a car park so onstreet parking so if close enough best to walk or catch a bus - it's one of only a few 'real' pubs left now ?

It really is a good place to go. The entertainment is great, everyone is so friendly, I like it here a lot. Staff are very welcoming and let me use the phone when I got lost with the dog. Thank you again

I drive for 3 hours to get here every Ipswich TFC home game. After that drive you need good beer, nice pub food and friendly staff. Steamboat Tavern has all of that on offer and is highly recommended.
